you glance over at calum, someone that you never would’ve expected that you would ever ask for help, but it was terrifying being up against this row of lockers with this guy hanging over you. and calum could see it clearly, from the way you looked at him with fear in your eyes, almost pleading silently for help. and calum weighs his options for a few seconds, deciding that if he was going to be suspended for something, it might as well be for this.

“alright, fuck it,” he curses, grabbing the guy by the collar and pulling him off you and wrestling him to the ground. you lost count of how many punches were thrown before the administrators pulled calum off the other guy. but what you couldn’t miss, was before he was pulled off to the principal’s office, calum very distinctly winking at you before tugging his arm away from the gym teacher that was trying to wrangle him in
