Im a newbie to the TUA fanbase but like,,

I gotta mini rant already. 90% of people in the TUA tags literally think its even remotely ok to act weird about Five, like being really gross about his character and stuff and why is this seen as ok?? I mean hes like, what, 13 or 14 in the show?? If y'all acted like this, and I know some of y'all do, around Eleven in Stranger Things, there would be an uproar. This BOY this CHILD is being sexualized by adults and I'm 100% not here for it. It's really gross and I wish more people would call the fanbase out for it. Just because he is a guy doesn't give freaky women in the fandom a free pass at being a pedo sorry

I'm tired of seeing like, reader x five fanfics HES A CHILD. AN ACTUAL CHILD. A murder child but a CHILD nevertheless. Seriously, get your head on right. Shipping him with someone literally twice his age in the show is so gross but its like no one else seems to have a problem with it? And like I know people will try to justify it with "Oh but he's 56 or something!! He just looks 13!!" HEY GUESS WHAT IT'S STILL WEIRD!! Theyre still attracted to a 13 year old!! It doesnt make any difference!!

The double standard for stuff like this is so real, I mean you can TRY to talk about how its not but Ive been in fandom long enough to see how that is. Boys don't deserve this. Girls don't deserve this. Please be more aware of predators in fandom spaces, its shocking how prevalent this is honestly
