Indirect talks between Israel and Hamas have not brought the war to an end - and a pivotal few weeks looms.

Hamas representatives and mediators have arrived in Cairo to escalate hostage and ceasefire negotiations after Israel BACKTRACKED on accepting a 6 week phased hostage and truce deal.

These talks are contingent on BOTH parties accepting a new deal, otherwise Israel will ESCALATE GROUND ATTACKS and continue the bombardment of Rafah on MARCH 10.
