“please? we didn’t have it in a while! we can order (dish name no2) too? pleasepleasepleaseee” you pouted. jeonghan sighed dramatically, raising his eyebrows.

“okay. but say it one more time” he grunted, a smile creeping on his face.

he knows the struggles of feeling away from home so the second you start feeling homesick he’s there to make you feel better:”)

will also ask for music recommendations and he will learn some of the songs so he can sing them while playing the guitar

like,, shua will watch you scribble down in your mother tongue mesmerised

it’s not that fun, however, when you’re in a rush and you left him a note with a grocery list scribbled down

… and a couple of things in your native language…. messily written that even the translator doesn’t understand it…

“uhhh… y/n, darling?” joshua’s voice rung in your ears as you picked up the incoming face time call. you smiled upon seeing his cute but puzzled face.

“it’s umm, a historical reference. a surname of one guy, you know” you hummed. seungkwan sat down next to you and watched you fill the crossword, occasionally translating the questions and words you put in while you explained what they meant and why were they the answer.

in no time this turned into a couple activity: sometimes like this, sometimes he did a korean one and you watched, sometimes you solved them at the same time - him in korean, you in your mother tongue

he learned a lot of words thanks to this

his friends looked at you completely flabbergasted, not sure what happened.

he panicked once you teared up, fully awake. chan pulled you closer, calming you down

absolutely loves when you call him nicknames in your mother tongue, like

you could call him the goofiest and cheesiest nickname and he’s squealing like a teenage girl

but then he calls you the same or finds some new nicknames on the internet

sometimes to make you laugh or confuse he’ll put a sentence or a question to google translate and it’ll just… translate it so bad

He’d scoff at you and scoot to the other edge of the couch, to get as far away from you as he possibly could. “That wasn’t funny,” he’d say and cross his arms, like an angry child. You’d laugh at his reaction and throw yourself at him, hugging him tightly. 

KWON SOONYOUNG 

𓆩♡𓆪 “Get away from me, Soonyoung. I have a boyfriend.” Would be up and ready to fight your imaginary boyfriend. Wouldn't care and wouldn’t listen to you trying to explain that it was just a silly prank, taking it WAY too seriously. It would take some time for him to calm down and listen to you, finally understanding that you didn’t mean what you said. He’d try to give you a silent treatment for making fun of him, but would give up after seeing your upset expression. 

JEON WONWOO

𓆩♡𓆪 Another one that you cannot prank. You’d be at a dinner with your friends, and when he made sure that no one was paying attention, gave you a quick peck on your lips. “Wonwoo, you can’t do that. I have a boyfriend,” you’d try to sound as offended as you could. You’d also give yourself right away, as you started laughing at his unbothered and slightly annoyed expression. He'd probably give you a side eye as well, finding your little prank silly and pointless. “You’re so bad at this, it’s almost hilarious.” In the end, he’d have to apologise in kisses, as you accused him of being mean to you. 

LEE JIHOON

𓆩♡𓆪 Kissing pranks on Jihoon is like one of the worst ideas ever, you’re not sure what exactly had gotten into you. It would be on one of the rare occasions where he would kiss out of his own will. “Stop,” you’d put a hand on his chest. “I have a boyfriend.” His face would go blank, no emotions apparent whatsoever. He’d roll his eyes at you and smirk with a head shake. “You seriously thought this would work?” he’d ask. “No?” Lesson learned, never try to prank Jihoon. 

XU MINGHAO 

𓆩♡𓆪 One of the many drama queens. “You look adorable today,” he’d giggle and kiss you lovingly. “Stop Hao, I have a boyfriend,” you’d say and push him away. The second these words left your mouth, his jaw dropped and his eyes widened in disbelief. At first he wouldn't be able to say anything, being taken aback with your words, but would throw a tantrum right after. He’d gesticulate with his hands in annoyance and get so petty with you, making you taste your own medicine. Would probably ignore you for the rest of the day, until he started to miss you. 

KIM MINGYU 

𓆩♡𓆪 You loved tricking Mingyu, as he almost never caught up to the fact that he was being pranked. He’d kiss you before going to bed, already half asleep. “I have a boyfriend, Mingyu, you can’t just kiss me.” you’d say in a worried tone, making his eyes go wide in surprise. “Oh, right. Sorry,” he’d say and waddle to the bedroom. You’d stay in the same place, crossing your arms and waiting for him to realise. “YOU HAVE A WHAT?” he’d yell from the bedroom. Would be so sad and sulky after, you’d have to be the small spoon for the night, reassuring you that he’s your one and only. 

LEE SEOKMIN 

𓆩♡𓆪 Don’t do this to him. Just don’t. He’d lean to give you a peck, but you’d stop him before he could reach you. “I’m sorry, but I have a boyfriend.” He’d give you an apologetic look and say that it’s okay. He was about to continue what he was doing before, but as he saw your eyes welling up in tears from trying to hold in your laughter, he would understand he was being pranked. He would jokingly start yelling at you, and whine that you’re just being mean to him. You wouldn’t be able to resist his cute expression and kiss his lips and cheeks in a silent apology.

BOO SEUNGKWAN 

𓆩♡𓆪 Another drama queen. “Stop this Seungkwan. I have a boyfriend, you can’t kiss me.” Would throw hands and whine until you didn’t apologise and even then he would still be SO petty. Would not return any of your affection for the rest of the day, side eyeing you constantly and scoffing at everything you’d say. If anyone asked what was wrong, he'd spend the next ten minutes complaining how annoying and ungrateful you are. Would not even bother to listen to your explanation, saying right away, that he doesn’t find your pranks funny. 

CHWE VERNON 

𓆩♡𓆪 No reaction, face blank. He’d plop next to you on the couch, leaning in to kiss you on the cheek. “Stop, I have a boyfriend,” you’d distance yourself from him, reaching casually for the snacks laying on the table. Would look at you with a straight face, not amused at all. “Where did you get that from? Tik tok?” He couldn’t help but laugh when he saw your annoyed expression, which meant that in fact yes, you got it from Tik Tok. “Ugh, you’re no fun.” “Sure I am, your pranks just suck.” 

LEE CHAN 

𓆩♡𓆪 This baby. You heard about the prank from your friends, and you were curious how your boyfriend would react. “I had so much fun today,” he said, as you neared your apartment. He’d stop under one of the post lamps and give you a passionate kiss. You'd push him away “Chan, I have a boyfriend,” you’d say seriously. His heart would break at those words and sadness would appear on his face. “Wha- What do you mean you have a boyfriend?” Seeing his reaction, you wouldn’t have the heart to keep it going and hug him tightly, as you explained that it was simply a prank.

Junhui pulled up outside of the library, the rumble of his motorbike fading as he switched off the engine. He removed his helmet, revealing a head of perfectly styled dark locks. His fingers ran through his hair, ensuring it was just right. The silver earrings hanging from his ear glinted in the sunlight as he adjusted his leather jacket, leaning casually against his bike as he waited. The anticipation of seeing you put a mischievous grin on his face. 

“I told you not to wait for me anymore, Wen,” you called out, your voice laced with a scowl. 

Junhui turned around, his wolfish grin undeterred. Despite your scowl, he could sense a glimmer of excitement in your eyes. "Come on, Y/n, admit it. You're happy to see me," he teased, giving you a playful once-over. "You stopped wearing those skirts I love." 

A pink flush spread across your cheeks. "It's cold, Wen," you retorted, defending your choice of practical jeans over a short skirt in the chilly weather. 

"I know a way to make you hot, both of us hot," he replied, his voice laced with suggestion. He ran his tongue over his lip, twirling a strand of your hair around his fingers. 

Rolling your eyes, you responded firmly, "Go bother someone else, Wen. I'm not interested, as I've said a hundred times." You pushed past him, determined to brush off his advances. However, Junhui wasn't willing to let you slip away so easily. He reached out and grabbed your wrist, gently spinning you back around to face him. The space between you narrowed, and your breath hitched at the proximity. One small step forward, and your lips would have met. 

But instead of making a move, Junhui surprised you by saying, "I've got something for you." He noticed your reluctance and added, "Close your eyes." 

You protested, "Why? Are you going to kidnap me or something?" 

A mischievous smile danced on his lips. "Or something. Now just close them," he insisted, his voice tinged with a hint of excitement. Reluctantly, you shut your eyes, suppressing the urge to sneak a peek. The silence hung in the air, and you hoped he wouldn't do anything foolish. After a moment, Junhui carefully placed something in your hair. "Now open." 

Slowly, you reached up, pulling out what he had placed in your hair. In your palm lay a delicate, single daisy. Confusion flickered across your face as you looked at Junhui. Sensing your bewilderment, he brought out a beautifully arranged bouquet from behind his back. Blushing, you admired the bouquet, noticing the elegant white flowers with delicate touches of yellow. It was clear that this gift must have cost a significant amount of money. 

Junhui was known as a typical "bad boy," someone who enjoyed casual flings, but he wasn't the type to steal. You knew that much. So, he must have bought the bouquet for you.

"These flowers symbolize innocence and purity, just like you," he explained with a boyish grin. "Do you like them?" 

Your eyes softened as you looked at the bouquet in awe. "Yeah, I love them," you replied sincerely, twirling the flowers in your hands. "They must have cost a lot." 

"Well, if it's for you, then it was worth every penny," Junhui said, his affection for you shining through his words.

Curiosity getting the better of you, you questioned, "But why did you do it?" 

Junhui ran a hand through his recently dyed black hair, replacing the previous blonde. "Because I like you," he confessed, reaching out to hold your hand. Surprisingly, you didn't pull away, allowing him to lace his fingers with yours. "And yeah, I really like you."

Your skepticism lingered as you replied, "You don't like me, Junhui. You think you like me, but it's different." 

Frustration tinged his voice as he countered, "It isn't! You don't understand, Y/n. I like you in a way that I want to date you. I know you might bring up my past behavior, but I've changed. I've changed for you. You're amazing and incredible, and words can't describe you. I like the way your cheeks flush when I compliment you, the way you're so smart and talented that the teachers adore you. I don't think you realize how long I've been crushing on you. You have this ability to make people smile when you walk into a room. There are times when you're just so perfect that I can't believe you're even in my life. I know you might hate me and think I'm some kind of playboy, but I promise I won't be like that anymore. I just want you to know that I really do like you, and if you're willing, I'd love to take you out." 

His words held a sincerity you hadn't witnessed before. It wasn't that you didn't like Junhui; deep down, you did. But you had reservations, afraid of getting hurt. Nibbling on your bottom lip, you weighed your options, contemplating whether to give him a chance. After all, he had been pining over you for a month. 

Finally, you relented, saying, "Fine. I'll give you a chance." You watched as Junhui's face lit up with joy, a genuine smile spreading across his lips. "Thanks for the flowers as well," you added, twirling the bouquet in your hands. 

"You won't regret it, Y/n," he assured you, his eyes filled with hope. 

"I hope I don't," you replied, offering him a sweet smile. "I have to go now, but thanks for waiting for me." Standing on your tiptoes, you fluttered your eyes shut and planted a soft kiss on his cheek. Junhui's face turned as red as a tomato, caught off guard by your affectionate gesture. He coughed, trying to regain his composure, as you giggled and turned to leave, your books in one hand and the bouquet of daisies in the other. 

By the time Junhui snapped out of his daze, you had already disappeared from sight. He brought his hand up to his cheek, feeling the warmth where your lips had touched. Blushing, he whispered to himself, "It's going to be a good day." With newfound determination, Junhui made a silent vow to cherish this opportunity and show you that his feelings were genuine.
