i read somewhere that keanu reeves liked voicing johnny silverhand so much he asked to have more dialogue. apparently johnny was only supposed to pop up during the main quest missions, but keanu wanted more. and i... love that so much? those little interactions between johnny and V really REALLY make the bond between them so much more salient and meaningful. even when they're just bitching at one another or bickering. it just feels so much more... real? those mundane moments inbetween the big stuff that really establish johnny in V's life. and it makes you not wanna say goodbye.

and it's even better because you know keanu really put some soul into johnny and you can just feel it. I JUST LOVE THAT

And sometimes, we as the entire community lose.

But it does keep people out so that can be a plus.

Twitter threads are incomprehensible and dense and while they insist you can be "ratioed," you technically never win a Twitter argument.

On Tumblr you can win so decisively, you force that blog to deactivate and then that post will drag around that user's dead fucking body for all of time.

Every time you see it, it's a victory lap around a coffin that we'll never bury. It's astounding.
