Iām not sure if this will go anywhere but.. Iām writing a fic! Itās. Hah. Random, and pretty dark, but itās a mix of the Life Series and Outsiders SMP with references to a ton of other SMPs that the members have been inā¦ Iām mostly putting this here because I drew lil eyes for the main characters and wanted to share them ācause Iām proud. But if you wanna check out the fic too, itās called Shadowed Exodus and itās under the user JinxReads! :]

More fic-related stuff: character sheet! Iām.. probably not gonna do one for ALL the characters, but I love my fish boy very much so I did him first

Trying to help family trapped in Gaza for 11 months
Hello everyone, and hope you read my story.
I am Mohammad Meqdad, I am 22 years old

I try hard and struggle to get my family of 7 people out of Gaza to safety

Since the beginning of the warš, my family and I have been suffering greatly from life. There is no clean water or healthy food. We try with all our energy to endure this life, but there is no life here.
Unfortunately, we were not able to leave here because the crossing was closed, but we are trying to collect money to buy supplies, and when the crossing opens, we will leave here to safety.

This is the place where my family and I live, and I cannot explain to you the extent of the insects that appear to us in the summer, the heat of the sun, or the cold of the winteršššµšø
This is what my sisters and mother suffer in this world in the face of war, displacement from one place to another, the intense heat of the fires, and the lack of hygiene. We try with difficulty to provide what we can.āāā

We urgently appeal to your moral and financial assistance to help me reach the goal in order to secure the life of my family, and the beginning of a new life. Every help or donation through you makes a big difference. Do not underestimate how the difference is for someone who needs your support

ā¢ Thank you for complete reading

Since the beginning of the war until now, I have been displaced 10 times. All that time, I was alone, away from my husband who stayed in our home in the north. When I was displaced first time, I was pregnant with my first child, and due to the circumstances of the war, the lack of food and medicine, the poor psychological state, and the intense fear, I lost my fetus. It was the most difficult moment of my life at the time.

I am Maryam, a children's teacher from the Gaza Strip. I am 35 years old. I am married and have two children, Muhammad and Mahmoud. I am now five months pregnant. I was living happily with my husband and children in our beautiful home š¹ until October 7th came and the war on Gaza began š

Because of the war, I lost everything: my home, my work, and my husband's work. We became homeless and because of death that always haunts us. I was displaced with my husband and children with all the feelings of fear and pain š fleeing the bombing and under the showers of bullets, walking on foot in search of a safe place to take shelter in š. We did not find any place to take shelter in and we spent a few days under the showers of rain without shelter. We now live in a tent that does not protect us from the heat of summer or the cold of winter.
Life has turned into a mixture of suffering, pain, and searching for a living. My children suffer from diseases constantly due to the polluted water and widespread diseases. My children were infected with hepatitis. I faced many difficulties. My house was demolished š„ŗ and my husband lost his job, which was Our livelihood, my family home and my childhood were destroyed and we were left with nothing. Memories were erased and because of the repeated deaths we were displaced for the third time amidst the bombing and destruction. My beautiful city has become a place of ghosts, unfit for life.
We are now homeless and without a livelihoodšš
Please help me so that I can leave the Gaza Strip with my children and husband and we can live in peace. Help me to rebuild my life, to restore my children's childhood, help me so that I can provide a decent life for my children and husbandššā¤

Hello, my friend. I hope this message finds you well. š
I'm Ola, a graduate student from the Faculty of Science at Al-Azhar University . I'm dedicated and passionate about becoming a good researcher and teacher.
Unexpectedly, my life took a drastic turn transforming me from a passionate student into a person struggling for survival. š„ŗ
My family is in a perilous situation due to the harsh conditions and the famine we have endured for 11 months. We are facing immense challenges, So I have created a campaign to help me and my family rebuild our lives and meet our basic needs for food, drink, and other essentials in these harsh conditions. This will also help me continue my education. At this critical moment, I implore you to share my campaign with your network, both offline and on social media platforms. Your advocacy is vital to our success.
All I am asking for is your support. Every simple thing makes a difference in changing the situation we are in. You can help us either by giving direct support to our campaign or simply by sharing/reblogging the pinned post on my page and/or writing a post about my campaign. This would greatly help us reach more potential donors, and I would be very grateful if you could share the campaign link with your friends and family via email or other social media platforms. ā¤ļø
I sincerely hope you can empathize with our dire situation and consider supporting us. Please be assured that any help brings us closer to our goal, and no matter how small your donation might be, it will make a significant difference in my family's lives.
I would appreciate it if you could follow me to stay updated, as I will always need your help. š

You know what, since I'm thinking about it anyways, let's talk formalwear accessories. Most of these are traditionally menswear but a bit of gender fuckery is good for the soul, and frankly most of these are about making your mass-produced clothing fit and lay properly without having to go to the tailor.
Shirt stays: these go around your thighs to hold your shirt down, so that it stays smooth and tucked in. They're usually elastic, with 1-3 clips, and if you wear skirts frequently this is a GREAT way to make sure your top doesn't ride up. The clips will be visible if you're wearing something tight, so loose pants or skirts are where these do best. There's also an insane version that clips to your socks, but that is for lunatics. If you wanted, you could also use one of these clips to hold up thigh-highs.
These do a great job of smoothing and narrowing the waist area by keeping your shirt from bunching there.

Sleeve garters: usually metal, leather, elastic, or silk. These are usually worn with button-down shirts to adjust where your cuff falls on the wrist or hand. They're properly worn on the upper arm, and you pull the fabric of the sleeve above the garter until you cuff is where you want it. Because this creates a puff of sleeve at the bicep, it also broadens the appearance of the shoulders. It's great if you're working with your hands or if your sleeves are often too long for your preference.

Waistband clip or belt adjustment clip/buttons
Three different ways of tightening the waistband of a pair of pants or a skirt. You're not going to get more than an inch or so tighter without weird bunching, and for most of these you'd want them to be hidden under a shirt or jacket, but they do the job if that's something you're having issues with.

Collar pins: There are so many fun ones out there, both with and without chains. They're not terribly practical, though the slight weight may help keep your collar where you want it. Also consider collar tips, which pin (surprise) to the very tips of your collar points.

Sweater clips/guards: meant to hold your sweater or cardigan mostly closed. Great if your cardigan doesn't button, or if you don't like it to be buttoned all the way.

There's tons of other stuff out there like this--etsy is a great place to find this stuff. A lot of these are old solutions to the very modern problem of mass-maufactured clothes not being as one-size-fits-all as advertised, but they're also a fun way to put a bit of personality into businesswear.

As winter approaches and my family is caught in the crossfire of genocide. The constant threat of airstrikes, freezing temperatures, hunger, and the lack of medicine have put my family in a dire situation. I am doing everything I can to protect 24 members of my familyāincluding children who deserve the chance to survive this coming winter.
Despite the verification and support weāve received, time is running out, and I cannot do this alone. Every donation, no matter how small, can provide the warmth, food, and vital medicine needed to keep my family alive.
Donāt say you canāt helpābecause you absolutely can! Each of us has something valuable to offer. Whether itās your art, your friends, your network on Tumblr or beyond, or your unique writing skills. You have the power to make a difference. If the airstrikes, hunger, and lack of medicine donāt claim my family, this harsh winter might. But you can prevent that. yes you can by using your talents and your voice to save lives.
Remember, 24 lives are in your hands so pleease help!

Soo this is my first post on this blog, Iāve decided to leave my old one behind bc itās a bit cringe lmao This is my art btw and uhhh yeahhshshahjasjsjjajsjsjsnshsh idk also this is inspired by an artist called hikari toriumi on twitter :DD
It has been 11 months of genocide. 334 days of airstrikes and ground invasions. 481,801 minutes of innocent lives martyred one after another.
I donāt know how the world can still keep spinning as this happens right in front of our faces, or why we are letting this go on for so long, but with every passing day, it seems people become used to it, even when the victims come to us themselves asking for help.
Many of us donāt know how to handle such a huge responsibility. We may feel we are not equipped to do so. That is why you get overwhelmed when you are confronted with the victims and our complicity in it and make a decision to ignore. You become defeatist.
But you canāt do that. You have to resist because this is exactly what the settler colony wants you to feel. They do want to look away. They want you to carry on with your life (your normal) while they commit the most atrocities on the most vulnerable.
Deutschland (Germany) is a country that shows no shame in their support of the settler colony. It is up to the point where they would discriminate against the Palestinians. Even to those who stand up for them. Ava Moayeri, a German-Iranian activist, has been sent to court for chanting āFrom the river to the sea, Palestine will be freeā last month!
If she goes through this, imagine the Palestinians who want nothing more but to build a better future for themselves. My friend, Bilal Salah (@bilal-salah0), is no exception. He is 22 years old and lives in Deutschland for work, but he has faced so many difficulties. He has been on the verge of deportation, making him lose access to his job and housing. His former employer has extorted ā¬4,800 and he is still unemployed, so he can not financially support his family back in Ghazzah. This fundraiser is all he has.
So please help him achieve ā¬110,000 by September 20th! We are supposed to raise it today (Sept 15th), but we have failed to do so. Let's make sure this doesn't happen again! We can't let him down!
As of writing this, ā¬105,980 has been raised! There is only ā¬4,020 left to go! If we do the math, we need at least 804 people to contribute a minimum of ā¬5 to succeed!
Please donate and share. Bilalās family has narrowly survived the airstrike at the al-Masawi Camp. This fundraiser will help them purchase basic necessities until Rafah Crossing reopens and they can evacuate!

Skip Google for Research
As Google has worked to overtake the internet, its search algorithm has not just gotten worse.Ā It has been designed to prioritize advertisers and popular pages often times excluding pages and content that better matches your search termsĀ
As a writer in need of information for my stories, I find this unacceptable.Ā As a proponent of availability of information so the populace can actually educate itself, it is unforgivable.
Below is a concise list of useful research sites compiled by Edward Clark over on Facebook. I was familiar with some, but not all of these.
ā
Google is so powerful that it āhidesā other search systems from us. We just donāt know the existence of most of them. Meanwhile, there are still a huge number of excellent searchers in the world who specialize in books, science, other smart information. Keep a list of sites you never heard of.
www.refseek.com - Academic Resource Search. More than a billion sources: encyclopedia, monographies, magazines.
www.worldcat.org - a search for the contents of 20 thousand worldwide libraries. Find out where lies the nearest rare book you need.
https://link.springer.com - access to more than 10 million scientific documents: books, articles, research protocols.
www.bioline.org.br is a library of scientific bioscience journals published in developing countries.
http://repec.org - volunteers from 102 countries have collected almost 4 million publications on economics and related science.
