As your resident helaegon writer, I compiled my all-time fave Helaegon fanfics, ones I've reread over and over, that gives us more than what the show had! Here is my list of beautiful fics with awesome writing that deserve love, kudos, and comments.

I love mostly all Helaegon fics though these are the ones I can remember on top of my head (in no particular order). I might post a part 2 as there are more.

𖤓 long nights, with your hands up in my hair. by alexander (shwishu) [E] THIS. This is the fic that singlehandedly converted me to this ship. It's sexy, dark, and hot as hell.

𖤓 Dragonblood by Aegon_the_King Modern AU Helaena and Aegon where he gets her pregnant and they have to deal with their family. The drama, romance, and caring for their kids is on point.

So they didn't have the budget for Maelor....but enough for a character that didn't exist in the books(Dyana), for an unnecessary weird son/mother sex scene(Alyssa, mother of Daemon and Viserys), characters that didn't do nothing for the plot in season 2(Rhaenyra's sons Viserys and Aegon) and the brothel Madame Silvy or just the actors for the brothel scenes all together? As well as the small folk when they rioted against Alicent and Helaena because of starvation(which also didn't happen in the books) and much more...Hm. Aight.
