How cute they aređŸ„čđŸ„č and the name😍 I bet it's Wonwoo idea to name their baby WonjaeđŸ«ą

Beginnings | A nothing new drabble

Pairing: chaebol!husband!Wonwoo x chaebol!fem!reader

A/N: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH it’s Jae’s birth scene!!!!! So so excited for this one!!!!! I love dad wonwoo and i hope u do too!!!!

Wonwoo feels him phone vibrating against his suit pocket but he can’t pick it up without making it obvious.

He’s currently in a meeting with the management team of a company that is planning a product launch with his family’s company. They’re very aggressive and strict and the CEO who’s currently speaking would definitely make a fool out of Wonwoo if he were to pick up his phone.

His phone vibrates again and Wonwoo cant help but wonder if it’s you.

Out of the corner of his eye, Wonwoo sees his assistant, Jeff motion to his phone indicating he needs to answer the call. Wonwoo lightly shakes his head. Before Wonwoo can react, Jeff quietly enters the room and comically drops to the floor and crawls to Wonwoo’s seat. Wonwoo is panicking. He’s got his eye on the CEO and Jeff at the same time.

“It’s your wife, Won-“

“Excuse me, Jeon Wonwoo. Is there something so important that this meeting is being disturbed by one of your employees?” the CEO bellows before Wonwoo can even process what Jeff has said.

“I’m sorry sir, but I have an emergency phone call I need to take.”

Wonwoo stands and bows and makes to talk out the door when the CEO tells him to stop.

“What’s more important than this meeting Mr. Jeon. Surely you can share with the rest of us.”

Wonwoo grits his teeth and flits his eyes over to his dad who says nothing.

Of course he won’t help me out.

“I’m not sure sir that’s why I need to answer this call.”

The CEO opens his mouth to continue this stupid argument when Jeff butts in.

“Mr. Jeon’s wife is in labor and he needs to go to the hospital now.”

Wonwoo’s eyes widen as he turns towards Jeff suddenly not caring about who else is in the room.

Wonwoo’s dad stands up and stops Wonwoo.

The calls had been from you. You needed him and for 20 minutes he hadn’t been able to answer your calls.

“Dad, I can’t. I can’t miss the birth of my child.”

A million thoughts raced through his head as he picked up his pace to head to the door.

“Jeon Wonwoo. If you walk out that door, you can consider this deal over.”

Everyone’s eyes widen. The Jeons’ entire team had been slaving away for months trying to please this CEO and he was threatening to take it all away because Wonwoo needed to leave?

Wonwoo looked the CEO in the eyes.

“Then consider it over. I don’t think our company should be investing our time and efforts into another company with a CEO who’s quick to make ultimatums over family.”

He pushes his dad over and storms out, dragging Jeff by the arm as they run to the car.

Wonwoo frantically pulls out his phone and calls you immediately.

“Wonwoo?”

“Y/N, I’m so so so sorry, I was in a meeting and the CEO wouldn’t let me answer my phone. Are you okay? I’m on my way right now.”

“Wonwoo please, please come now I need you here, I can’t do this without you.”

“I’m on my way I promise.”

Jeff steps on the gas and Wonwoo sees that they’re a 30 minute drive away from the hospital.

“I’m sorry, I won’t be there for another 30 minutes.”

He hears you groan and dry heave.

“Y/N, I’ll stay on the phone with you. Are your parents on the way?”

You take a deep breath before answering.

“No, I don’t want them here yet. I’m with Mrs. Wei. Wonwoo, I just want you.”

-

An agonizing 30 minutes passes before they finally reach the hospital. Wonwoo leaps out of the car, thanks Jeff and runs into the lobby. He’s directed to the private suites of the labor wing and runs down the hallways trying to find your room. He finally enters, completely out of breath to you laying on the bed with Mrs. Wei, your housekeeper, holding your hand. Mrs. Wei stands and comes up to him telling him she’ll run back to the house to get some extra things you left behind as well as call your parents if his dad hasn’t done that already. He gives her a brief hug before coming up to you.

Your eyes are full of tears and you’re sweating like you just ran a marathon. Wonwoo bends down and rests his forehead against yours, closing his eyes.

“I’m sorry” he whispers.

He lifts his head up to brush your hair away from your face, pressing a kiss on your forehead. You grab his left hand and start crying. Wonwoo takes your face in his hands, trying to soothe you.

“Wonwoo I’m so scared, I’m so scared, please please help me.” You’re full on sobbing now as you grasp his suit jacket, your fears out in the open.

“I thought I had another 2 weeks but he’s arriving early. Wonwoo I don’t feel ready.”

Wonwoo takes you into his arms, engulfing you in a hug as you cling to him.

“I know, I know. I wish I could do more to help you but I’ll be here with you every second. I’ll be holding your hand and you can squeeze it as much as you like. Y/N, you got this. You’ve made it this far. You’ve given our son life. You carried him in here for 9 months and he’s ready to meet you. I’ve never met a woman as strong as you. You will get through this and I will be with you.”

You’ve calmed down, Wonwoo’s soft voice and reassuring words comforting you. He’s holding your face, his thumbs caressing your cheeks as you loosen the grip on his collar. He bends down to give you a brief kiss on the lips and you feel your heart flutter as you kiss him back.

He touches your necklace and smiles.

“At least now we can fill this empty space with his gemstone.”

Your peaceful moment with your husband is interrupted by the onset of nurses returning with the doctor.

The doctor checks how dilated you are and tells you it’s time to start pushing. Wonwoo takes his hand in yours as you begin, the prospect of meeting your son filling both of your hearts.

-

You’re in a daze. Your son is place don top of your chest as his umbilical cord is cut. You can’t believe it. There are no words to describe the feeling of having the child you’ve carried for so long, here with you on earth. He’s crying and you touch him for the first time, immediately bursting into tears. You look up at Wonwoo who’s already looking at you.

There are quiet tears falling from his eyes as he takes you in. He can’t believe what he’s just witnessed. You may have been actively giving birth to your son for 2 hours straight but you look ethereal. He has always thought you were pretty but now? You were beyond beautiful. You were more than just his wife. You were the mother of his child and he can’t think straight as his eyes move to his son who’s real.

The nurses take your baby away to quickly clean and weigh him and you turn to watch him go. Wonwoo places a hand on your chest and you turn back towards him as he leans down to kiss you on the lips again, this time with more passion. The nurses return with your son all swaddled up and place him in your arms. Wonwoo leans over so he can look at the baby’s face. You’re crying and he cries again and his heart can’t take it. He buries his head in your neck and cries as you brush your fingers at the bottom of his hair.

-

Wonwoo is laying down next to you with his head on your shoulder when a nurse asks if he wants to hold your son. His eyes widen and he quickly says yes. He sits up and is asked to unbutton his shirt so he can have skin to skin contact. The nurse carefully takes the baby from your arms and lays him into Wonwoo’s. Wonwoo’s heart is beating fast as he fully comprehends that he’s holding his first child. His head falls back as he starts crying again. This precious tiny human is half him, half you. This is family and he’s afraid that his best isn’t good enough. He vows to do everything he can to take care of the two of you. Hell, he’s ready to sacrifice his whole stupid chaebol inheritance and lifestyle for this very moment. You lay your head on his shoulder and rest your left hand on your baby’s back, your wedding rings gleaming in the soft light.

-

“Do you have a name for him yet?” the nurse quietly asks the two of you.

“Won-Jae” Wonwoo replies, softly smiling at the baby who’s now awake and quietly looking up at him with big boba eyes.

-

The nurses move Won-Jae, Jae for short, to his little bed and Wonwoo watches as the nurse helps you get into the shower. Mrs. Wei returns with additional supplies for you as well as a beautiful home cooked meal so the two of you can eat. Wonwoo can’t believe it as he watches Mrs. Wei unpack dish after dish. He graciously thanks her as she makes her way back home. Wonwoo sees his phone on the sofa and walks over to it and scrolls past the 500 messages from Jeff, his dad, his mom, and everyone else who doesn’t matter to the camera app that was recently used. He opens his photos and sees a handful of pictures, taken by the nurse he assumes, of your very first moments as a family of three. He lived those moments but having them memorialized into pictures has his heart bursting at the seams.

-

You’re asleep, exhausted from the labor. Wonwoo is sitting in a chair next to your bed, Jae in his arms. He’s crying yet again, with no witnesses except Jae and the moon.

Even though they want to have a baby just to comply with their parent's request, I'm glad that they have each other. Especially Wonwoo who defends his wife when the invasive question is asked of his wifeđŸ„°

protector | jeon wonwoo | a nothing new drabble

There’s a full moon tonight. Wonwoo is driving the two of you to a charity formal his parents are holding for the company. As a newlywed couple, you both need to show face for business purposes.

Because of this, you headed to work earlier and are now tired beyond belief. When you got home, you got ready putting on a dark purple gown and leaving your hair down. You had missed the way Wonwoo eyed you when you came running downstairs. Now that you’re sexually active, Wonwoo finds it difficult to keep himself in line on a regular day, what more when you’re in a beautiful gown?

The charity is a full hour’s drive away and as Wonwoo drives, you fall into a deep sleep. Wonwoo turns to look at you more than once, making sure you aren’t smudging your makeup knowing you’d panic if you had to redo anything on your face.

Tonight, Wonwoos head is full of thoughts. You’ve recently started staying the night in Wonwoo’s room after sex and waking up next to you is messing with him. Sometimes he’ll wake up with you tucked into him, other times you’ll be all the way on the other side. This morning, he had woken up spooning you and unfortunately for him, you were awake. The silence was so awkward as he pulled away from you and sat up. You both seemed to have no problem when it came to having sex in the dark but once the sun came up, all forms of intimacy were just completely off the table. You were married so why were you making things more difficult for each other? He just wishes he had more time to get to know you before getting married instead of the other way around. He doesn’t even feel like you’re on the level of friendship.

Wonwoo turns to look at you again. You’re still asleep.

-

You hate these kinds of events. For starters, you’re not too fond of Wonwoo’s parents. His mom always brings up having a baby every single time she sees you and you’re 100% certain she’s going to mention it when you greet her.

“Hi mom, hi dad,” Wonwoo greets his mom with a hug, his dad a handshake. You bow in greeting, trying to ignore the way Wonwoo’s mom is looking at your stomach.

“My dear, you know how much we would like a grandchild. Are the two of you even trying?”

You blink, processing what she’s just said to your face.

“Mom, are you serious? First off, you can direct the question at both of us not just y/n. Please quit it with the baby questions. I mean it.” Wonwoo reprimands his mom, placing a hand on your shoulder.

“People will talk if you don’t have a child by-,”

“You say this every single time you see us. The baby will come when it comes. Now if you’ll excuse us.”

Wonwoo bows, you follow, and he takes your hand to direct you away from the tantalizing eyes of his parents.

You end up in front of the drinks, watching as Wonwoo grabs a glass of red wine from the tray and pours a good amount of it down his throat. You touch his arm and reminding him that he drove.

Wonwoo surprises you by dragging you closer to his body by your waist, leaning down to rest his forehead on your shoulder.

“I already don’t want to be here.”

You play with the hair on the back of his neck.

“I know, but at least we have each other. Would suck if I had to endure your mom’s questions all night.”

You pause.

“Sorry,” you say quickly apologizing for borderline insulting his mom.

He squeezes your waist before standing to full height.

“I’m sorry about them. I wish they’d stop asking.”

You’re interrupted this time by your own parents. Wonwoo bows first, shaking your parents’ hands. You bow next and give them both a super brief unaffectionate hug. You’re not exactly close to your parents. They’ve been generally unsupportive and not very emotionally invested parents- training you for the chaebol lifestyle. Your mother pulls you away excusing the both of you and leaving Wonwoo alone with your dad.

Wonwoo keeps an eye on you while conversing with your dad, watching as your mom intently talks to you. He sees your face change, the way it contorts into a frown. Suddenly you swiftly turn run away. Wonwoo immediately puts his drinks down and excuses himself from your dad, running to catch up with you.

He sees you head outside, worry plaguing his mind.

You place your hand on the wall for support as you tremble all over. You feel yourself being turned around, your head meeting a firm chest. You know who it is. You’ve always felt safe with this person.

You feel yourself fall apart right in your husband’s arms. Your whole body crumples and you let it because your heart knows there’s someone to not just catch you, but hold you. You’re clutching onto Wonwoo’s jacket as you sink to the floor with your head bowed as you start uncontrollably sobbing. He doesn’t let you hit the ground. Your head meets his chest and he just holds you as you continue to cry into his shoulder.

The sound of the charity event starting, makes you look up from Wonwoo’s shoulder as you realize you need to be back inside. Wonwoo carefully wipes away your tears with his hand before bringing you both inside. Before entering the venue, he brings you to the women’s restroom, triple checking that no one is inside so he can be in there with you to properly clean your face. He wipes your splotchy cheeks and looks down at you, his eyes gentle and kind, so different from the hard and dark ones you see everyday.

“What happened?” he softly asks.

You roll your eyes to the side, unable to look Wonwoo in the eyes.

“She asked if we were sexually active. When I refused to answer, she said I was being a bad wife by not fulfilling my obligations as a wife in pleasuring my husband and that it would reflect badly on everyone in our family. And she said I’ve already gone out of my way to ruin the family image by having my own company and not being a stay at home wife.”

Tears pool in your eyes as you look down recalling the last bit of what she said.

“And she called me a disappointment to our family. She said she and my dad went out of their way to find me a perfect husband and I was ruining it all by pursuing my silly, unimportant desires with my company. All this because I’m not pregnant yet. Wonwoo, we got married just 2 months ago. I’m not sure why they think we need a baby so soon in the first place.”

You don’t realize but youre clutching Wonwoo’s forearms. You only realize when he pulls away to take your face in his hands.

“Since you don’t hear it enough, I hope you know I’m proud of you and what you do. I don’t want a house wife, I want a wife who pursues what she wants. You’ve built a major tech empire and you’re only 24. I’ll
take care of this at some point I promise. You shouldn’t have to hear the brunt of all the baby talk from either of our parents.

He folds you into one last hug, the two of you in the silent bathroom holding onto each other like a lifeline.

-

After numerous speeches and awards, the event is finally over. Wonwoo opens the car door for you, waiting until you’re inside to round the corner. He opens his side and tells you he’s going to quickly run to the bathroom before the long drive back home.

He heads back inside, walking right past the bathroom and into the venue making a beeline directly towards both of your talking parents.

“Wonwoo my dear-,” his mom starts.

“Stop.” Wonwoo immediately interrupts, holding his hand up.

“I’m just here to quickly say one thing to all 4 of you and I don’t want anyone interrupting. This is the last time I’m officially making this request. Stop. Asking. Us. Especially y/n when we are having a baby. We got married 2 months ago, and I don’t care if that’s more than enough time to start ‘making’ a baby. It is truly none of your business and your comments and questions are both invasive and disrespectful towards my wife. Her job isn’t to produce a baby. She’s the founder and ceo of a tech company worth millions and you can’t even say anything about that. Keep it up, keep asking about a baby, and I personally promise you that you will not be a part of its life.”

“Is that a threat, son?” your father asks narrowing his eyes at Wonwoo.

“It is.” Wonwoo immediately replies.

“One more question. One more comment. Whether you make it in front of me or not. I will know and I will find out and I will go forward with my punishment. I’m not scared of any of you. This is me protecting my wife.”

With that, Wonwoo swiftly turns around and walks away.

Everyone blinks.

“I must say, youve raised your son to be a good husband,” your mom says to Wonwoo’s parents, impressed that he immediately came to your defense.

Wonwoo’s mom watches him walk away. “No. It wasn’t us. I think it’s just who he is.”

-

Wonwoo gets back in the car apologizing for taking forever, saying that he ran into a relative. He drives the two of you home, his heart still beating with adrenaline at his secret confrontation with all your parents. Someone has to protect you from their wrath.

-

When you step inside the house, Wonwoo locks the door and isn’t expecting you to be right in front of him. You place both your hands on his chest and look up at him. He looks down at you and wraps his arms around your waist.

“Did you really go to the bathroom?”

Wonwoo pauses. He knows he can’t lie to you. Not when you’re holding him so close and looking up at him with your shiny eyes.

He lightly laughs and says no.

“Will you tell me where you really went?”

Wonwoo sighs and looks around the room before meeting your eyes again.

“I went to go
talk with both of our parents.” he sheepishly admits.

“And what did you say?” narrowing your eyes.

“Not much. You know just a little threat,” he says smiling at you.

You smile back and don’t press further. You place a kiss on his cheek and lean into his ear.

“Thank you for standing up for me. Especially to our parents.”

You make to break away but wonwoo pulls you in, leaning down to kiss you on the lips. You freeze, but kiss him back, feeling him tighten his arms around your waist. He breaks away first and before you can even react, he’s carrying you bridal style up the stairs.

-

You’re both lying in Wonwoo’s bed, exhausted from how Wonwoo just ravaged you for 2 hours straight. He made you cum 5 times and you still feel like you’re seeing stars. All of a sudden, he pulls you close and whispers in your ear.

“If only they knew the answer to all their questions.”

You roll your eyes as Wonwoo kisses right under your eyes.

He pulls you into his chest and you fall asleep in the arms of your protector.

Sunrise | a nothing new drabble

Pairing: chaebol!wonwoo x chaebol!fem!reader, arranged marriage

Content: SMUT MDNI 18+ only, if you are ageless blog, I will block you!

A/N: this takes place 2 months before nothing new but you can read in any order!

Read the whole series + drabbles here!

Wonwoo groans as he blindly reaches for his phone to turn off his blaring alarm.

5:30 AM.

As the eldest son of a chaebol family, he was set to inherit the company but not without a test of his strength. His father made him the lead of a merger and it has been kicking Wonwoo’s ass for almost 4 months now. He almost passed away on the spot when he was informed by his assistant that the merger was expected to take an additional 3 months. He stays in the office late at night and is forced to get up at ass o’clock to open the office before security even gets there.

He’s exhausted and over it.

He sits up and stretches before turning to you.

The two of you share a bed but it feels like there’s always an ocean of space between you. You’re always asleep when he gets home and still asleep when he gets up. It feels like he never gets to spend any time with you even if it’s moments with you in silence. More importantly, he hasn’t been able to spend as much time with his son. His dad was up his case to produce an heir and now works him to the ground so much that he doesn’t even get to spend time with said heir. Wonwoo doesn’t want his son to grow up like he did. His own dad was never around and actually shipped him to a completely different country for almost 10 years. His son is evidence of the two of you- a production of your obligations as children of chaebol but he secretly likes to think that he’s also a production of your love for each other. Yes, the two of you don’t exactly get along but he still cares about you deeply and he hopes you feel the same.

Wonwoo’s thoughts are disrupted by a buzz from his phone.

7:00 AM meeting canceled. Next appointment at 9 AM.

Thank god. Wonwoo wasn’t looking forward to this meeting so early in the morning and now he gets an extra hour of sleep.

Except he’s wide awake.

He sits up and looks at you again, catching glimpses of your body going up and down from your breathing by the gentle light of the rising morning. Your hair is sprawled across your pillow and over your face. He rolls a little closer to you to move your hair out of your face so he can truly look at you.

Your face looks so peaceful as sleep graces your face.

Wonwoo rests an arm around your torso as he takes in what you’re wearing- a thin camisole that shows off your cleavage with the necklace he had given you years ago shifted sideways. You were a very deep sleeper never moving even when he kissed your forehead every single morning without fail before he left for work.

The more he looks at you, the more he feels himself twitching in his pants. All these odd hours had prevented him from getting laid with you, his pretty wife who’d let him do anything to her. He really doesn’t want to wake you up, he knows you have work today too but he can’t help it. You don’t need to be up until 7 so that gives him an hour to fool around with you.

He softly rubs your shoulders trying to wake you up without startling you. You blink slowly trying to make sense of what’s happening.

“Mmm Wonwoo?”

“Shhhh it’s just me”

“What time is it?” you asks groggily.

“Not 6 yet. My 7 AM got canceled.”

You turn so you’re laying on your back and Wonwoo’s eyes rake down your body taking in your exposed neck and hard nipples through your cami. He rests a hand on your stomach, rubbing back and forth, his face hovering over yours.

Wonwoo feels your hand gently come up to the side of his face. Your thumb caresses under his eyes and you frown.

“I can’t tell if it’s just dark in here or if you have the worst eye bags ever.”

He softly laughs and cups his hand over yours.

The way he’s looking at you is making you nervous.

“I don’t need to leave for another hour.”

The hand on your stomach makes it way up your body resting on your boob before tracing your nipple in slow circles. Wonwoo shifts so that he’s right next to you supporting himself with his elbow. He looks down at you with what you can only describe as hunger in his eyes. He brings his hand up to your neck, playing with your necklace before wrapping his hand around your throat and diving in for a kiss.

The kiss deepens as his tongue forces its way into your mouth. Your breaths and whimpers are sucked up by Wonwoo’s mouth, a smile growing on his face.

You break apart and he pulls you up by the arms so he can lift your camisole over your head.

His eyes darken at the sight of you naked from the waist up with just your dainty necklace- a testament of your little family and secretly, a symbol of Wonwoo’s possession over you. You’re his wife and the mother of his child and he wants everyone who looks at you to know that.

He moves your hair behind your shoulders and quietly wonders if he has time to get his camera before he remembers he’s on a time crunch. He pushes you down and removes your shorts and panties, leaving you fully bare and at his mercy. He returns to the same position as before, this time his hand trails lower until he reaches the heaven between your legs. He slowly rubs your clit back and forth then in circles creating a rhythmic soothing pattern that makes you flutter your eyes and take shorter breaths. Wonwoo asks you questions about work, about your coworkers, about your daily routine all while bringing you closer and closer to the edge. He finds himself having to repeat his questions or stop so you can answer him properly. You’re in the middle of answering a question when he decides to stick two fingers inside you while his thumb continues rubbing your clit. Your whole body begins to shake and you grab Wonwoo’s wrist begging him not to stop. He’d love to tease you but he simply doesn’t have the time so he lets you gush all over his fingers watching as your whole body shakes from pleasure. He takes his fingers out of you and sticks them into his mouth while maintaining eye contact with you.

then he moves on top of you, pulling down his sweatpants and letting his dick spring out and breathe. Before Jae was born, Wonwoo would always sleep completely naked but with Jae being able to walk, you made him wear at least pants just in case Jae visited you in the middle of the night. He moves his dick closer to your face, forcing you to kiss the tip before he continued. You oblige and watch as he taps his member on your face, one of his favorite habits. He moves back down your body and his face ends up between your legs. He knows he doesn’t have time to eat you out so he simply presses a kiss to your sensitive clit and rises to align his dick with your entrance. He slowly thrusts in, easing himself in thrust by thrust. He’s fully sheathed inside and stays still as he looks down at you. He reaches down to touch your necklace and presses a soft kiss to the pendant before carefully laying it across your collarbone.

He begins to rock back and forth, picking up speed as he watches your face contort from discomfort to genuine pleasure. You reach towards his neck and lightly pull at the chain around his own neck, indicating you want his closer to you. He presses his body to yours and buries his face in your neck as he continues to move. His eyes roll to the back of his head as your walls squeeze him so well.

He loves this. Lazy morning sex was a luxury and he felt like the luckiest man in the world to be experiencing this moment with you. He feels your arms wrap around his neck as you whisper in his ears that you’re close. A few more thrusts and your cumming, moaning softly. He keeps going, bringing you to the tips of overstimulation before he also cums, shooting his load deep inside you. After a few more thrusts, he stills. He feels your hands moving to his shoulders and upper back, your fingertips drawing soothing shapes as he catches his breath. He lifts his head up and looks at you. The sky is a light pink and yellow, an indication that the sun is about to rise.

The light illuminates your face and he feels his heart beat faster as he takes in your raw and honest beauty. He’s always known you were gorgeous but having you to himself in these circumstances makes him want to stay inside you forever.

Your legs wrap around his waist as you tighten your arms around his neck, an intimate hug he realizes. Your movements cause his dick to shift ever so slightly deeper inside of you and you both let out a moan, wanting to go again but knowing you don’t have the time. The two of you stay in this embrace, enjoying the warmth that cockwarming brings both of you.

Wonwoo reaches for his phone and feels his heart sink at the time. He needs to get ready and be out the door in 30 minutes or else he’ll be late. He presses one last kiss to your lips before pulling out.

He figures you might as well get in the shower with him so he pulls you to the edge of the bed by your ankles and hauls you over his shoulder, playfully slapping your butt.

You wash away your morning escapade and are brought back to reality as Wonwoo leaves the shower first to start getting dressed.

The hot water is soothing against your skin. You replay the morning in your head wanting nothing more than unlimited time with your husband but reality awaited you. You step out of the shower and are immediately enveloped in a towel. Wonwoo is dressed in his crisp button down shirt and black slacks yet takes the time to dry your body almost sensually as you lean back and rest your head on his shoulder.

You turn around and press your now dry naked body to his clothed one and give him one last parting kiss, making sure it’s raunchy and dirty before you saunter away to get dressed. You turn around briefly and wink, smiling to yourself as Wonwoo’s eyes widen, standing still in the bathroom with your towel still in his hands.

He takes out his phone to text his assistant.

How important is this meeting?

That's right😩, I can't believe how so easily he said Yoongi was an idiot for wanting to leave her angel alone from his dark world. I scoffed at his words when I remembered what he'd done in the last chapter of Elysian 🙂‍↔🙂‍↔

Latibule Season 2: IV

Masterlist, Latibule 2.III

The fact that he was not even trying anything was what was making you be more on edge.

It had been more than three days now and he still hadn’t done anything except following you wherever you went. He turned into your very own version of a shadow, never straying more than a foot away. Despite your diminishing sight, you could see how people went out of their way to avoid your path. You surmised that it was because of the man following you closely. You didn’t have to turn to see the glare he was freely giving anyone as though he was your guard dog, or the dark energy he was emitting like a disturbed cat you used to frequently liken him to.

You were close to your breaking point. Your future laid uncertain, more so about your survival and likelihood that you would see your beautiful son once again just because his father was confusing you.

His motives confused you. If he was here to end you, why hadn’t he done so, yet? If he wanted to talk to you and ensure that you wouldn’t blab to anyone about who he truly was, about his other identity, why hadn’t he done so yet?

Why hadn’t he done anything except to follow you?

You were never a good actress, and you knew sooner rather than later that he would inadvertently notice. Honestly, you were already sick with anxiety and you didn’t know what you would do should you take this one more day. This had to stop and you needed to know why he was doing this.

And what exactly was he doing you asked?

Take for example, right now as you were trying to enjoy your meal in a small diner. His presence was unsettling and his eyes, like dark pools, seemed to follow your every move with a mix of intensity and longing that sent shivers down your spine. Not only was he eating on a booth in front of yours, but he also paid for your meal. He even went as far as threatening the waiter with his eyes to make it appear that the meal was free due to some made up celebration.

You couldn't help but scoff at the absurdity of it all. Unicorn Day? What kind of excuse was that? What even was a unicorn day?! That did not even exist! But even as you stopped yourself from rolling your eyes, a nagging question lingered in the back of your mind. Why was he going to such lengths to keep you close?

More so
why was he pitifully eating his meal alone, his gaze held a certain softness and daresay yearning in them? Why did he look so
lonely?

Confusion and frustration warred within you as you struggled to make sense of his intentions.

However, it was becoming less likely now that he wanted you gone when you came home and finally found solitude. You were going through the motion for the night. Your hands were running across the table as a guide, a thing that you had learned to do when you hit yourself too many times from the edge of the table, when you felt what seemed to be a protective gear used in the corner of tables. And then all at once, you noticed all the little things that had changed without you fully noticing.

The bathroom tiles had more friction to what you were used to, the kitchen utensils lost their heaviness, and the doorknobs were now noticeably noisier than before.

And now that you were alone without his overbearing presence clouding your judgement, without him breathing down your neck that caused you to immensely fear for your life, that you started to look on the other side of your horror: did he do all of these for you?

Perhaps, you were able to tolerate it all because of the anticipation of pain you thought you’d get from him. But this softness and tenderness displaced you. Somehow, this was worse. This was something you couldn’t bear, not when you now knew who he truly was. You couldn’t take this, you couldn’t let all of this change anything – especially when you now had someone to protect. You struggled to think of what could happen should he find out that his clever deception brought someone in this world.

Sleep had greatly eluded you that night regardless of how weary you felt. Your thoughts were all over the place, consumed by worry for your son right now. You couldn’t even step out to find solace and watch the stars like you used to do when your thoughts were just too loud. What was the use, you thought, when you could no longer see their beauty?

You had your eyes closed, now accustomed to darkness and your body was even when you heard it– a miniscule creaking of the floorboard, followed by the gentle opening of the door. He was here, you surmised.

Agustd was here.

Was he here to finally do the deed? Was he here to finally end all of this chaos? Did he wait until the dead of the night so that there wouldn’t be any witness? So that the job would be easy? So that he wouldn’t have to look into your eyes as he delivered the final blow to your heart?

Despite the terrifying thoughts racing through your mind, you were still as a board. You were greatly anticipating the pain as he drew near, his familiar scent, once beloved by you so much, was now making you acutely aware of his proximity more than ever before.

You could feel the heat from his body. You could hear the gentle rustling of his coat as he moved. This was it, you thought. This was your end, and maybe it was for the best. Hoseok would take care of your son. He was evidently fond of him. You knew that multifaceted man loved your child despite who his father was. You knew it the moment you woke up when your child was only a month old and found him gone from your side only to discover Hoseok gently comforting your crying son with his ridiculous stories, his voice painting a story. You knew it the moment he patiently stood by your son’s side when he was sick. You knew it when he cried when your child took his first step. Despite what transpired that fateful night, Hoseok was good to you and your son.

You trusted him.

You felt the side of your bed dipped from Agustd’s weight, yet it was his hand that you first felt. His calloused hand tenderly caressed your face, his touch so faint that you almost wondered if this was real. His thumb softly touched your lips and it lingered there for a moment that you wondered how you were able to control your breathing. You had gone years without him, his existence merely both a nightmare and a wonderful dream only in your memories. You had put him behind, hadn’t you? You had fully squashed any hopes that you and him would be anything other than a disaster, hadn’t you? You had repeatedly told yourself that you would never again let yourself feel anything for him, hadn’t you?

So why then was your heart shattering? Why then now that he was near, now that he was touching you, did your beliefs and your resolute heart wavered?

You could take him following you around. Honestly, you would rather take him being your shadow instead of this because then you could play pretend that he was not here.

You were about to open your eyes when you felt a drop on your cheek. Then, it was as though a dam overflowed as you felt teardrops cascading down your skin and the hand touching you trembling with both grief and relief.

Perhaps, if you could see him now, you'd understand how deeply you were intertwined in each and every part of him. If only you could witness how your absence and your inability to see now broke him, then all your hesitations about him would vanish because no man whose heart was not owned by you would cry as much as he was right now. No man who loved you as hard as he did could withstand this.

“Thank you for not leaving me alone in this world, my angel. Thank you for being alive,” he whispered in the silence of the night.

Min Yoongi’s POV

You were alive and it should be enough for him.

But Min Yoongi had always been a greedy man. He was a despicable man who always craved for more and blamed it all on from his terrible childhood to his twisted parents. He knew he was greedy when he took the organization that had been in his Jin hyung’s family for decades and ventured into darker places no one dared to go. He knew he was greedy when he didn’t stop there and even took hold of the police force for himself. More so, he knew he was greedy when he found you alive and instead of being contented that you were here, that you made good on your promise and didn’t go where he couldn’t follow, he still wanted
no. He craved the warmth brought by your proximity. He wanted you so near to him that you couldn’t breathe without him knowing, that you couldn’t think without him hearing your own thoughts.

He wanted you by his side that you couldn’t leave again. He wanted you so close that no one would dare to hurt you anymore.

However, there was this part of him that was good regardless of how minuscule it was. It was the same part that you were able to reach, the one that made you believed that he was incapable of inflicting pain to others, the one that made the betrayal so much more painful to you. And now, that part was warring with the dark side of him to let you be. It was the same part that whispered that he was somehow to blame for all of this, that had he left you alone, you wouldn’t be in this mess. It was the same part that whispered that he should be happy that you were alive, and that alone should be enough. It was your second chance in life but this time, it shouldn’t be with him.

His hands were shoved deep into his pockets, fingers curling into fists as he wrestled with the conflicting desires raging within him. He wanted to reach out to you, to pull you into his embrace and never let you go, but he knew he had already hurt you enough. And so, he stood there, silently battling the demons that threatened to consume him whole.

Perhaps, this was why he did nothing but to follow you and to watch you from a distance, only letting himself near you when you couldn’t know, only letting him touch you when you wouldn’t be able to push him away in disgust.

His train of thoughts and self-hatred were interrupted by his phone. Yoongi looked down at his ringing phone before bringing it to his ear, turning away from you as he answered. The street was busy but he had clear vision of you from behind, and the crosswalk hadn’t signaled yet for pedestrians to proceed.

“Yoongi-ah, where’s my niece and nephew?”

Here he goes again, Yoongi thought. He chuckled at his ridiculous question, his Jin hyung still hadn’t given up on his agenda of them having families of their own. His hyung's unwavering determination to see all of them settle down and start a family was both endearing and exasperating at times. “You won’t even ask how I am?”

Jin's response was swift and filled with characteristic enthusiasm.  “You found her. I’d say your more than okay. That is exactly why I’m expecting a nephew, preferably, within 9 to 10 months, okay? I’m buying Louis Vuitton onesies as we speak.”

Yoongi listened to his Jin hyung’s plans of buying his supposed nephew the most expensive and ridiculous clothes a newborn could have with a heavy heart. Listening to him made the situation so much heavier. Listening to him made him realize how further he was to realizing that dream
and how impossible it would be now.

“Are you really just going to let me buy him his first custom made toy gun? Really? Because your silence seems like you are agreeing-“

“She’s blind now, hyung.”

That statement alone finally made the mafia prince to cease from speaking, the weight of Yoongi’s new reality was slowly settling in. “She cannot see me. She still doesn’t know that I’m here-“

But Jin's response was unexpected, cutting through the air with a coldness that sent a shiver down Yoongi's spine. "Bring her home, Yoongi."

Yoongi's brows furrowed in disbelief, his mind reeling at Jin's insistence. "What? Didn’t you hear what I just said? I said—"

“I heard you, Yoongi-ah,” he stated with his cold voice he seldom used. “She’s blind now,” he repeated tonelessly. “But I’m telling you to bring her home. We might be able to do something. It’s not over until I, the greatest doctor to ever exist, tell that it is.”

“Hyung,” he sighed, looking down as he processed what Jin said and his poor attempt at making light of the situation. There was a possibility that he could fix you. But did you want anything to do with him now? What if you looked at him with hatred and disgust in your eyes? What if you saw him and decidedly left him again? Was he being selfish for considering the alternative? Could he even survive after that?

And for the first time in his life, he admitted that he was beside himself for terror that you might want nothing to do with him, that you would rather forever lose your sight than see him.

But before he could dwell on his fears any longer, Jin's voice cut through the turmoil, filled with frustration and exasperation. “Then make her fall in love again with you. You did it once, Yoongi. I cannot believe after all the education I all gave you, after sending all of you to the best universities and ensuring that you all would be the top of your chosen profession, you are all still idiots! This is such a simple problem that requires simple solution. For the love all of all that’s-“

Yoongi’s turned to where you were, only to find you crossing the road behind other people. He was a good foot away from you when he heard the screeching sound of tires that seemed to have spiraled out of control and horrifyingly, in its path was you.

His angel.

He moved before he could even think, his legs powered through, pushing people out of his way just to get to you. He remembered thinking to himself at that moment that he this time, he would harshly refuse losing you. This time, he would fight harder against destiny that was so hellbent on taking you from him.

And that time he swore that the universe was on his side as he reached for your arm and firmly pulled you to his chest. The screeching tires and the shocked sounds of the city faded into the background as he felt the force of the fall. With a deep grunt, he absorbed the impact, his body tensing with the weight of both of you as you collided with the ground. Despite the pain shooting through his body, his only concern was for your safety.

His arms remained a steadfast barrier, shielding you from harm as he felt the ground beneath him. The world seemed to slow down, time stretching out in that moment of crisis. The sound of your shock was drowned out by his pounding heart and the rush of adrenaline coursing through his veins. For a split second, time seemed to freeze as he held you close, shielding you from the impending danger.

As the screeching tires came to a halt, Yoongi's focus remained solely on you. He felt a surge of relief wash over him as he realized you were unharmed, safe in his arms. His heart was beating so fast brought by the sickening worry that he wouldn’t make it in time that he failed to notice the consequences of his actions.

“Are you okay, Angel? You’re not hurt
right?”
