Okay. I'm not a huge fan of the last piece I posted. I found it to be flat and over busy- a single image trying to accomplish what a panel sequence in a comic would have accomplished more dramatically. So I'm revisiting it in this sketch and adding a possible sketch for my final image in the sequence as well. It's tricky to get a single image right narratively- which is why I make comics instead of illustrations normally.

Set piece made in SketchUp for an upcoming comic.
First page of an older comic I worked on with writer Eric Howerton a few years back- plus details. I still can't believe how nuts this crowd scene was.
Still looking a little dinged up but much improved from the bent (and burst) corners that were. It'll take a book press to fix that block- which I don't own, so I think we're done for now. Spine text for point of reference. I'm tempted to build a slip cover for this down the road.
