Sabine and Gage would threaten to get in a physical altercation. Though Sabine is normally one to strategize through an issue, if the MC is crying – she’s throwing hands. Gage lunges first, asks questions later.

E would comfort MC in the moment but later on...they would tell everyone that this person was unnecessarily cruel. That shit doesn’t fly in a small community.

Oliver would start yelling. He doesn’t typically raise his voice (except in...intense circumstances...cough...chapter 4...) but this would be the time.

I feel like I should have Elise Hour where she just spouts off advice like an all-knowing auntie.

Oliver: Doesn't really get it at first but, after thinking on it, believes they’re a good match.

Sabine: Thinks they're an unstoppable pair. Worried for anyone who tries to cross them.

Ezra/Elle: Did not mean to make you upset and backtracks immediately. Whatever you were just arguing about is forgotten. Hugs and soothing words only. 

Oliver: Freezes up at first. Knows he’s not the best at comforting but does his absolute best. Makes sure to keep checking in with physical affection all day, to the point where it gets ridiculous and you have to assure him that you’re fine, he can let go of your hand now. 

Sabine: Is so caught up in proving her point that she doesn’t notice immediately. After comforting you, wants to dig into exactly what she said that made you cry and why so she can avoid using similar language in the future.

Gage: Oh, shit. Shit. He didn’t mean to do that. Waits to let you cry it out and wipes your tears silently. Restates his intention which was pointedly not to make you cry. Jesus, he never wants to see that again, that was painful.

how would the ros react to the mc just. REFUSING to let them get up in the morning, cuddling them close, wrapping them in the blankets, etc.?

Ezra/Elle: Will humor them for at least a little bit.

OIiver: Gets hilariously flustered. No. Stop. It’s time to get up now. 

Sabine: Happy to delay her day for a quick cuddle. 

Gage: Don’t have to ask him twice. He’s staying in bed for the foreseeable future.
