Monument aux Girondins, Bordeaux, France: The monument to the Girondins, located in Bordeaux on the Place des Quinconces, was erected between 1894 and 1901 in memory of the Girondin deputies who were victims of the Terror. The people of Bordeaux commonly call it the "Girondins column" or "Girondins monument". It has been classified as a historical monument since 16 March 2011, after having been registered on 8 July 2004, the classification having been approved by the Bordeaux City Council on 25 October 2010.
