Oh my gosh I just had the perfect fic idea for Percy like how am I this big brain omg
All I want for christmas.... is a pidge x gn reader oneshot đđ
Okay hear me out, I haven't seen any fics of her and the reader doing paladin training so...
Brains or Brawn? - Pidge x Reader

I AGREE THERES NOT A ENOUGH OF ANY OF THE PALADINS DOING PALADIN TRAING AND WE NEED MOREđ I hope this is good for you, enjoy!!

You had just been paired up with Pidge for an hour of paladin training set up by Coran. Apparently, the Altean claimed that he had set everybody up with a partner, save for Allura, according to certain categories and aspects of each of the paladins fighting styles.
Keith and you had been put in the group of brawn, often using your fighting instincts and force first. Pidge and Shiro have been grouped together of brains since they tended to think battles through more thoroughly, searching for quick solutions first. Hunk and Lance had been grouped together as neutral surprisingly, as they both were able to utilize both when necessary. (Something that Keith didnât agree too much on)
Being the first to battle, you and Pidge were supposed to beat the other by using the set skills you had. You couldnât help but grin at the competitiveness that built up in your chest.
âYou ready to get beat, Pidge?â Snorting, the short paladin made her way to the middle of the room with you, going to the opposite end of the make shift arena.
âYou? Beat me? Haha, very funny.â Pidge smiled at you as you began stretching your body.
âAlright paladins, you already know the drill. The first one to incapacitate or knock the other outside the lined spaced is out.
âYour given weapons are allowed, but no accidentally killing each other! We may have replacements for your suits, but no replacements for paladins! Remember to trust your instincts and have fun!â
As Coran finished, you looked back to Pidge and settled into a defensive stance. Pidge did the same as you got ready.
âOn your marks!â
You gripped your dagger as hard as you could, tensing your body. Ainât no way you were going to lose to Pidge of all people. This will be easy enough, you thought.
âGet ready!â
Pidge took a deep breath in. As much as she liked you, she wasnât going to let you win this mock fight. Not when she could hold it over your head for a while.
âGo!â
You immediately ran towards Pidge, swinging the hilt of your blade towards her head in older to knock her off her balance. Having noticed your arm raising as you dashed towards her, Pidge quickly ducked to the side and rolled away, trying to put some distance between you two.
You quickly turned around and ran towards her again, not giving her any time to use her bayard against you. Pidge was forced to play the defense while you relentless attacked her.
She was quick enough to narrowly dodge your swings, but miscalculating a step gave you a new opening. Quickly as Pidge slightly stumbled, you raised your leg and kicked her straight in the stomach. You winced as you saw her crash into the ground.
âI am so sorry Pidge! Are you oka-!â
In your moment of weakness, Pidge pulled through the slight pain and activated her bayard, the cord swinging toward your leg and yanking it with as much force she could muster.
Not expecting the the cord to wrap around you, you fell backwards, groaning in pain as your head hit the floor with a light thump.
âSo not fair.â You muttered as you tried to gather yourself at the sound of Pidgeâs light footsteps heading towards you.
You quickly rolled to the side as Pidge tried to jump on you, launching yourself to her body. You both tumbled on the ground until you ended up on top of her.
The short girl quickly wrapped her bayards cord around your arm and yanked you to the side, your body flying off her as she scrambled away from you to catch her breath.
âI am so glad this is just a training exercise!â Pidge exclaimed, catching her breath.
Once again standing, you swung your dagger towards her, repeating the process of you being offense and Pidge being defense.
It was when she ducked after another swing that she came up with an idea. At one point, you were going to tire yourself out from all your attacks. You were going to begin slowing down as you exhausted yourself out from your constant attacks.
All she had to do was play the waiting game in the process. Since you were bigger than her small figure, her only option than pinning you down was to kick you out of the arena.
You, on the other hand, believed that your nonstop attacks would make her trip up again, giving yourself another opening to pin her down. If you kept attacking, she wouldnât have enough time to come up with a plan, instead focusing on dodging you.
You both danced around the arena, Pidge leading you both as she dodge your swings.
It was only when you felt the ache in your arms did you begin faltering. This was not how you wanted this go down.
âGetting tired Y/N?â Pidge teased as you sloppily swung at her. Grunting as sweat beaded down your forehead, you took a step back. You were going to win no matter what.
âNot even close Pidge!â She didnât expect you to tackle her football style after only using your dagger for so long. You guys hit the ground together again.
You ripped her bayard out of her hand, tossing your own as you tried to get ahold of the girls arms beneath you.
At your weak arms, Pidge smacked them away from her body, forcing her legs out from underneath you and placed the soles of her feet on your chest. With all her strength, she shoved you away and watched as you flew backwards, back hitting the ground harshly.
You panted as you got up, moving to pin Pidge down as she stayed on the ground until you heard a horn being blasted.
âCongratulations Pidge, youâre the winner!â You stared at Coran in shock.
âWait what?â Your chest heaved as you looked around the room, mind still on overdrive. You looked towards your friends in confusion.
âHow did Pidge win?â Getting up, Pidge made her way to you, stopping a bit away from you as she smirked.
âCoran said that we can incapacitate each other, or get someone out of the arena.â
You quickly looked down and saw you were beyond the arenas border lines. Your eyes widen as you whipped your head up to meet her own eyes.
âWHAATT!! NO WAY! NO WAAAYY!â Everyone let out a laugh at your shocked reaction. You totally didnât notice at all!! You completely forgot that was an option! That explains why it felt like Pidge was leading you around.
You seriously wanted to smack yourself in the face. So much for trusting your instincts! You groaned as Pidge patted your shoulder.
âBut how?â You looked down at her, eyes shining with amazement.
âWell, since you were so focused on bombarding me with attacks, I realized all I needed to do was lead you to the edge and somehow get you out that way!
âItâs ok Y/N. I guess this proves that brains beats brawn in the end.â At her laughter, you couldnât help but pull her into a hug and begin swinging her around like a rag doll.
âAww my smart shortie! Youâre so smart, I would not have thought of that!â You put Pidge down and moved to the side to allow the next duo to battle it out.
âMaybe I should take lessons from you.â Pidge snorted, bumping her shoulder against your arm. She smiled at your words and looked forward, watching as Shiro and Lance took their places.
When the Sky met the Sea (Platonic!Percy Jackson x Reader)
A/N: I was inspired to write this after reading the phrase âthe sky meets the seaâ on a video!!! I was filled with inspiration đđ˘

Percy felt as if the rain were drowning him. The thundering raindrops that crashed down on him was too much for him to handle while fighting this monster. The boy quickly ducked away from the monsters aggressive swing and away from the edge of the cliff. Further away from his saving grace, the sea.
He felt the energy in his body slowly draining from him the longer he fought. This battle had been going on for much longer than he wouldâve liked, but heâll admit, that was on him. He shouldnât have pretended to play tag with the ferocious beast now in front of him.
Momentarily distracted by his thoughts, Percy was struck down by sharp claws. Riptide was thrown away from his hands. Thunder echoed in the distance. He looked up, fear finally growing in him at the state he was in.
The monster roared in triumph at Percyâs mistake, almost sounding like a wicked laugh. Percy tried shuffling away from the creature in front of him, praying to any god or goddess listening that Annabeth or Grover, or anybody really, would come save him. The monster stomped its giant paw right next to Percyâs small body.
Thunder and lightning sounded closer to the pair, not that the boy would notice anyway.
âNo way Iâm getting taken out by a giant lion.â Percy stared in horror as the monster opened up its mouth, canines gleaming in the lightnings light that seemed too close for comfort.
It all happened so quick that the boy had no idea what had happened.
One minute Percy is saying all his goodbyes and mourning all the things he never got to do, and the next, heâs watching with wide eyes as the lion monster is zapped away from his body.
âGet up, quick!â
Having absolutely no time to register anything, Percy scrambled towards the source of the mysterious voice that came out of nowhere. Looking backwards, he watched as the monster slowly got up and recovered itself, itâs side still sizzling from the sudden lightning strike.
Nearing the cliff, Percy finally looked towards his savior. Time seemed to slow down around him. Sea green eyes met with striking blue ones. Your narrowed eyes looked past him and towards the monster. Now noticing the sword in your hand, Percy watched with amazement as you lifted it above your head and into the sky.
Suddenly, lightning struck down on you and Percy fully believed you were cooked meat, the light emitting from the clash blinding him for a second until his eyes adjusted. There you stood, unphased by the strike as it looked like your sword was collecting the lightnings energy into it.
You yanked your sword back down, arm somewhat flinging itself at the recoil of the powerful strike. Swinging your sword toward the monster Percy had forgotten about, he watched with wide eyes as a blast came straight out and hit the beast square in the face.
The rain never stopped coming down even after the monster exploded into dust and disintegrated into nothing. Thunder and lightning continued striking down in the back as Percy slowly looked towards you again.
Breathing heavily, you looked to the boy who stared at you with green, awe-stricken eyes. Slamming the blade of your sword into the dirt below you, you spoke in a calm voice.
âWho are you?â
Percy couldnât believe how cool you looked in that moment. Standing at the edge of the cliff, the waves crashing in the rocks behind you causing them to reach high heights, and the lightning that lit up your face enraptured him.
âPercy. Percy Jackson. Son of Posiden.â He had no idea why he had mentioned who his father was but it felt right in that moment. Huffing, you took your sword once again from the ground and transformed it back to its bracelet form.
âSo youâre Percy Jackson. Well, itâs nice to meet you, Iâm Y/N.â Walking past him, you picked up his sword and shoved it against his chest, urging him to take it. The boy fumbled with it a little before it transformed back to a pen.
âChild of Zeus.â Thunder once again struck in the back and this time Percy couldnât help himself.
âYouâre actually so cool.â Chuckling, you began walking towards the forest and away from the cliff, Percy eagerly following close behind, already asking questions left and right.
It was in that moment, the sky finally met the sea.
Hey! Doing good I hope?
Iâll make this brief since I donât want to take up too much time, but I love Scarlet Witch and Percy Jackson so⌠Why not put them together? What if the reader is a child of Hecate with magic similar to Scarlet Witchâs? Powerful and dangerous, yet Percy is the only demigod who doesnât fear her. If anything, heâs actually curious.
Reader being a Child of Hecate
YEAAHH MY FIRST PJ REQUEST WOOOOâźď¸âźď¸ I did a little research on Hecate and bro this idea is literally so COOLđ˘ Also Iâm gonna make it so that you know, Hecate is fighting alongside Kronos just to make things more dramatic. Also this might be long but let me know if you want more calmer headcanons of child of Hecate since I feel like i always stray from the requestđđđ

Meeting reader was definitely a nightmare
Percy, Annabeth, and Grover had stumbled upon you one night on one of their quests and to say you were a strong demigod was an understatement
You were powerful, your magic (which Percy didnât know was possible for a demigod to have) was unlike anything theyâve ever seen before
Believing they were your enemy, you did not hold back when attacking them
âI told you I donât want to join your STUPID ARMY!â
At the raise of your hand a powerful blast sent the group flying back
Before they could even recover or say anything, you begin to speak in a low voice, moving your hand as fog came out of nowhere
From this fog, misty figures emerged and attacked them, the reader controlling the mist with every flick of their wrist
Yeah after that fight, Annabeth and Grover were not so fond of your presence alongside them
Her not trusting you as easily as Percy and Grover not liking how you were able to make these dangerous figures appear out of nowhere put them on edge around you
Percy on the other hand only had questions and questions to ask
âHow did you make those guys appear?â âDo you like, control fog?â âIf youâre part human, whose your godly parent then?â
Finding out that Hecate was your mother only made the group tense since the goddess was currently on their enemies side in the growing war
At camp, being a child of Hecate, most, if not all, of the campers avoid you
Claiming that you would use your magic against them, the campers choose to steer clear from you
Not Percy though
Heâs like a little leech on your back, a lost puppy following a random stranger
He does his best to make you feel somewhat at home since he understands what itâs like being an outcast because of your differences
He learns more about you as you begin opening up to him the longer heâs around, like how your life was before finding out you were a half blood, some of your powers that you demonstrated as you lifted him off the ground
You werenât a bad person everyone believed you to be
At one point though, Percy catches you sneaking out of the Big House with a paper in your hands when he was sneaking out to use the bathroom himself
Except you were caught by Chiron
He quickly jogs over to see what was happening only to be in shock at what you did
âWhat are you doing here Y/N? And what do you have in your hand?â
You slowly begin moving your hands in the same familiar way you once did all that time ago in your first meeting
âWhat do you mean? I donât have anything. Iâm not even here in front of you. In fact, you were actually heading back in after watching the stars, never coming across anyone on your way out.â
Chironâs eyes glazed over as you snuck around the centar, running from the Big house and into the dark woods. The centar then looked around in confusion before looking up to the sky and chuckling
âLovely constellations as always.â Percy watched as Chiron shut the door, acting as if nothing ever happened
Rushing after you, carefully avoiding any harpies, Percy followed the sound of quiet whisperings, seeing you in a clearing, hunched over with small candles surrounding your figure
It took everything in him to not yell when he saw the dead crawling from the ground and begin whispering in your ears, ghosts floating around you while you kept your eyes closed.
The stick Percy stepped on though immediately drew your attention as all the ghosts vanished as quickly as they came
âWhose there?â
Slowly the boy walks out, eyes wide as he meets your own shocked ones
âI thought you said you were a child of Hecate, not Hades.â
It took everything in you to not smack your face at his dumb words
You would explain everything to him, why you grabbed the paper, how you were able to manipulate the Mist with Chiron, and how since your mother was also the goddess of necromancy, you were able to speak to the dead about what the future held in store, hence why you needed the paper with information
Now at this point he thinks youâre the coolest demigod heâs ever met
Being able to manipulate the mist on someone like Chiron AND be able to basically see into the future
Youâre like Percyâs new favorite subject to learn more about
He would keep what happened that night a secret but Percy would totally introduce you to Nico and expose you to the younger boy
And you guys would actually get along really well surprising (Percyâs a proud mother watching from afar)
Being able to talk to the dead, you both talk a lot as you realize you have many things in common
In battle, Percy stays far away from you since he wouldnât want to get caught in your mist and be jumped by your warriors
And despite Annabethâs persistent nagging on staying away from someone as dangerous as you, Percy canât help but stare in awe whenever you use your magic, whether it be conjuring up a mist form or illusions for your enemies
Percy is one of the only people you can rely on since homeboy isnât here to judge anyone
He finds all your powers really cool and if people are afraid of what you could do, then he makes sure to shoot down any concerns and accusations
OH ALSO!! You help him a lot when it comes to manipulating the mist when it comes to mortals since youâve noticed how he has a lot of trouble with it
Overall, Percy is your 4lifer and always encourages you in everything you do
Heâs so supportive I canâtđ
He canât be afraid of what you powers you possess, not after getting to know who you really are
Miguel codes Lyla a Friend

I had this idea since I was thinking maybe sometimes Lyla gets lonely being the only hologram in the spider society apart from Spider Byte. So I decided to do this and show what it could be like if Miguel finally coded and programmed Lyla a new friend!
This also might be the very few writings Iâll do for this fandom since I wanna focus on the ones Im active in now :D

For this to even be CONSIDERED a possibility, Lyla would have to have been annoying Miguel for awhile, complaining about how oh so lonely sheâs gotten being the only hologram
âCome on.â
âThereâs Spider Byte.â
âShe doesnât count, plus sheâs still a spider. Come oonn.â
âIs my company not enough, Lyla?â
âLook me in the eyes and you tell me. Come ooonnnnn.â
In the end Miguel will succumb to Lylaâs persistent complains much to the her delight
I can already see her excitedly yapping away while Miguel begins programming her new âfriendâ
I totally see Miguel just copying and pasting Lylaâs original coding while making some changes like the personality and appearance just because he didnât want to spend too much time on this
It takes a couple of runs before both he and Lyla are satisfied with the final outcome, youđ
Miguel made it so that you were the more compassionate and kind one between the two of you while Lyla is the honest and blunt one
You chose your own name, which surprised both him and Lyla since you were already adapting and growing as an intelligent form of tech
âWell then Y/N, welcome to the team.â
Cue Lyla grabbing your arm and disappearing to who knows where while Miguel sighs
Omg she would totally give you star glasses so you could match with her heart glasses!!!
You guys are rarely seen without the other ever since your arrival
Lyla would show you all the ropes to being Miguelâs assistant and would be so proud when you help file your first report on an anomaly :,)
âThey grow up so quick.â
âBut I canât âgrow upâ Lyla.â
âYouâll understand those sayings soon.â
You guys do everything together, like karaoke nights with Miguel, make friendship bracelets for each other and take silly pics with that one bunny filter Lylaâs obsessed with
Itâs like youâre Thing 1 and Thing 2 according to Peter :]
Because this is technically your shot in âlivingâ, you definitely look at everything with stars in your eyes
Everything is still so new to you and so exciting that you often get carried away with rambling about how fascinating life is
Which causes Miguel to raise an eyebrow at times because itâs almost like your becoming more self aware of yourself, gaining more⌠human emotions despite you being only a hologram
And he isnât wrong
Once learning of Miles Moralesâ story and how heâs essentially going to destroy the multiverse according to Miguel, you canât help but feel for the boy
Your traits grow from being compassionate to feeling real emotions which confused you at first when you began feeling so different at times
(You asked Lyla about the weird feelings youâve been getting but she only looks at you weirdly so you donât bring it up again)
You make it a habit to mention every now and then that Miles had no control over what happened and how you feel sorry for him
How you even theorize that with him, the cycle of Spiderman could possibly be broken!
Lyla would 100 percent lecture you on how that would be terrible and all that fun sunshine stuff which you definitely donât listen to
Hobie would be around when youâre on one of your tangents on how Miles could be the change the multiverse could benefit from, capturing his attention
âRebellious one, arenât you?â
âOh Hobie hello! What do you mean by that?â
âI sure as âell know bossman wouldnât program your own ideas to go against his, now would he?â
After that small talk, your hologram self would realize âhey! Im thinking for myself, I have my own ideals and beliefs!â
Cue you acting out against Miguel cuz youâre in your rebellious phase
Bro would totally tell Lyla to control you
Youâve been giving him more headaches than Lyla has and thatâs saying something
I think Lyla would try to tap into your programming to see if there was something wrong only to find out you put a PASSWORD on that file LMAOđđđ
Her reaction: đŚ
Besides that concerning factor that is making itself way more known after Miles arrives, most of the spiders do enjoy your company
They love how you just float around them as you beg to hear more of their stories and fights theyâve experienced
You have an almost childish light because of how interested and amazed you are at them
You love being around Peter B. though because of Mayday
She loves just swishing her hand at your frame, giggling as you reappear in a different spot, your soft glowing light capturing her attention every time
Overall I think being Miguelâs second assistant isnât the most terrible thing in the world
Lylaâs sarcasm has rubbed off on you so you both like to make Miguelâs job a little more difficult than it needs to be
But he definitely has a soft spot for both you, especially since you often sympathize with him whenever he watches those videos of his past life
Youâre just a silly member of the society trying to learn more about life and the special moments it holds
You want to be apart of the real world instead of being confined to the digital world, which Lyla and Miguel donât realize is a problem until you finally go against them
DUN DUN DDUUUNNNN
