I Think I've Finally Figured Out What To Do With That Front Landing Gear, Which Usually Just Had To Disappear
I think I've finally figured out what to do with that front landing gear, which usually just had to disappear in my paintings. Though there will be at least one odd plane now...
Looking at you B-52.

What are your fave tanks and planes to draw as anthros? :3
That’s a tough question to answer, I don’t really have a favorite vehicles that I like to paint as people. Usually the subjects are just things that I find fascinating and have unique details and/or colors. Tanks are especially samey looking so I don’t know which to pick. Planes on the other hand have a lot of different camouflages and design choices.
So if I’d have to pick one plane right now, it’d be the F4 Phantom II.
Overall the plane has a ton of interesting shapes. Like how the intakes gradually merge to the fuselage and the nose of the plane droops a bit. Not mention the most unique part: the long tail with the downwards pointing elevators.
Plus the JASDF sea camouflage is just really neat on it.

Finally I can feel like I belong here. Started to wonder what was wrong when I didn’t get a single strike during the nsfw armageddon :D
(got appealed really fast, props for that even though the system is hilarious(ly bad))
I was thinking this might have been the case :D I could maybe tag the ones with the historical roundel with “swastika”, so they don’t even show in the feed, if that helps at all.
Yeah, I live in one of the ocuntries where it’s forbidden. There are none on my blog and I’d like to keep it that way.
Do you think if the airplanes at the Intrepid or any Aviation Museum were sentient, would they have good stories to tell about their career in the military or some kind of great achievement in their lifetime?
Probably, though I haven’t put much thought into how the living vehicles would interact with people. In my paintings they are just doing their jobs and the people around them are unaware of them being anything other than planes.
If we think about it a bit: the vehicles at a museum would be old and bored for sure though. In a sense a museum is close to an elderly care home, where they just sit around while we come and visit them.
If they could talk they would be glad to have visitors, just as would be the old pilots who flew the DC-3′s and other planes. But I like to keep the vehicles in my paintings just indifferent and the people around them unaware.
So for real stories it is better to go and visit the real pilots, as most would probably enjoy telling about their careers.
