Gitu wa Kahengeri. As of 2024 the centenarian is one of the few remaining Mau Mau who fought for land and freedom from British colonial rule.
Besides which in 2013 with the input of scholars, historians, and researchers such as David Anderson of Warwick University, Caroline Elkins of Harvard, and Huw Bennett of Aberystwyth University, Gitu was instrumental in securing monetary compensation for some Mau Mau as far as losses, incarceration, or brutal treatment that captured fighters were subjected to within a labyrinth of detention camps constructed by the colonial administration for purposes of quelling the Mau Mau's quest for Kenya's independence.

Men's 5000m final, Atlanta Olympics. Centennial Park, August 3 1996.
He broke 13 minutes for the 5000m at a time when only African born runners were doing it.
He also improved on his 12th place showing at the Barcelona Olympics, by finishing 6th at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics in a highly competitive final that was won by Burundi's Vénuste Niyongabo.

Suffice it to say that regarding America's mid to long-distance running aspirations, Bob Kennedy and the likes of 800m runner Johnny Gray are without doubt the modern day forerunners of Matthew Centrowitz, Grant Fisher, Clayton Murphy, et al.
Kennedy is also hailed as a pioneering class of intrepid foreigners who availed themselves the benefits of training alongside African runners, something that he accomplished by relocating to England under Kim McDonald’s group of elite athletes who included legends such as steeplechaser Moses Kiptanui from whom Kennedy gained insights into a more relaxed philosophy of distance running.

Meantime, in sketchy news.
Apparently a person or persons unknown have decided that this oil portrait that's previously been on display at the National Museum in Nairobi, should no longer be part of the national collection but instead go either into storage or become part of someone's private collection.
Subject; Maasai elder standing outside his manyatta.

Whoever took this painting please allow the Kenya national museum access to it. It's meant to be part of the national gallery collection.

Quora Question.
Then there was the lewd MAGAt who got bored playing with themselves whilst watching Melania Trump's nudes, and so turned to more thrilling pursuits such as wanting video confirmation of Michelle Obama giving birth to Sasha and Malia. Ostensibly to ascertain that Mrs Obama is indeed female and a mother.

Q) Why has Michelle (Michael) Obama refused to release the video where he supposedly gave birth? Wouldn’t that put to rest the rumors about his real birth gender? Does he refuse because he never actually gave birth?
A) I’m very much a woman and have given birth to two children. I did not videotape my children’s births, but if I did, I wouldn’t want the world to see my nether region. No matter how famous a person is, it does not give a right to the public to insist on the release of such a personal video.
