something i’ve been thinking and reminiscing about recently is; when i first start playing Splatoon 2, i didn’t know that every player got to do the Hero Mode. i saw Marie say i had the “look in my eyes” that she was looking for and i was like, “wow.. i can’t believe i’m so lucky that I got to experience this… i’m the one who got chosen to save the Zapfish! i’m the only person who got to see this!” like, i was 14 (i’m pretty sure) when i got Splatoon 2 (started playing at the end of the Fork vs. Spoon Splatfest, like i got to see the results), and i know i was (and still am) kind of a dumb person, but.. that genuine belief that i was the only one who got to do the Hero Mode was.. a very special experience

more Inkopolis Square pre-splatfest pictures (i’ve figured out you can take pictures from a top down or a bottom up view and i’ve been taking a lot pictures because of it) also skateboarding jelly isn’t skateboarding 😔
