I have this little idea to which im gonna incorporate into "To Fathom You"

But where Floyd just acts like a little questionable. Like he just, slips up. And does stupid things and say things without consideration and thought. Like saying something he didnt mean to say out loud and someone is like, "What? Say it again?"

But he only does, says, and acts this way around you. Anything relating to you.

"They're beautiful...."

"Who's beautiful?"

"I said 'they're plentiful,' as in the amount of madol we have Azul."

"Mhm, yes indeed. Certainly, whatever you say Floyd..."

URGHHHHHHHHHH! A shy and in denial Floyd having a big crush on you is too much to bear, especially when so much happens in between the lines of such feelings. How can he stop feeling such a way? These feelings of his, it makes him feel stupid. Plain stupid in love. He hates it, oh so much. He hates you. Hates you so much that when he sees you in the distance laughing and smiling he cant help but want to come over and be that reason youre laughing. He hates you so much that when he wakes up the first thing that comes into his mind is what you could be doing right now. He hates you so much that whenever he sees some pastries he thinks whether or not you may like them. He hates you so much that he wishes you could just be in his arms where he'd squeeze you so indefinitely and butter you up in batches of kisses. He hates you so much that he cant bear the thought of you being with someone else.

Perhaps some trial and error is needed, but no matter what he does to get you off his mind. No matter what he does to rid these feelings of his for you, you come into his thoughts like a gentle piece of fallen flowers on a spring field river.

He's so stupidly in love with you, its quite comical – according to Jade. To think his brother would fall so hard for you, yet in return to his one sided affections only scarce glances are returned. What an enjoyable movie this will become for Jade, and dont forget Azul in the back who is definitely eating his popcorn while this all plays out.

From pinching his cheeks to kissing all over his face to squeezing every part of him you can get your shrimpy hands on, Floyd never gets sick of you loving on him. He revels in it, embracing your love with a sharp toothed smile and a shrill giggle that sends shivers down the spines of everyone but the three most important people in his life.

He’ll jam his face towards you at any given moment and flash you one of his playful smiles, the one he knows will get you squealing and cooing and pinching his cheeks. He actively seeks out your attention, grabbing it from anyone else who may be in your general vicinity with a smug grin on his face.

This is a headcanon I’ve had for a while, but Floyd loves being referred to as little. It’s just so silly! He’s giant in and out of the water, with a muscular physique made for cutting through the ocean and snatching up fish, every feature made to be a predator, and yet here you are!

You coddle him and squish him, repeating over and over just how cute he is, whenever he laughs or tries something new or gets just a little grumpy. His shrill voice teasing you for being so affectionate only earns more praise from you.

Azul will find a way to maximize your “babying” of Floyd, mark my words. You’ll be brought into the lounge if it looks like he’s running out of steam or getting agitated, just so you can see him doing whatever and get all worked up about it.

Jade thinks it's amusing, to be honest. Especially when you coo and call his brother little. He knows it's not condescending, but he may pretend to be offended just to get a reaction out of you. Too bad for him, you know his game by now!

Floyd would adore a partner like this, someone so openly affectionate with him and proud to be around him. It would keep him on his toes and the praise would go straight to his head, what more could he want?

floor time.

takes place during gia’s sophomore year. they spend much of their time at the lounge then (not that they WANT to) but it’s def the time their dynamic with floyd…changes… i wouldn’t call them friends but…yknow.
