Inspired by the brief period of time I thought I was polyamorous because I felt the same way about my boyfriend as I did my best friends and I hadn't clocked yet that all of those feelings were platonic
I don’t usually post much about my RP/DND/generally fandom based experiences/activities, but I do hate this weird mindset I’ve recently been seeing on tumblr that character playlists, have to be music the character would or does listen to?
Maybe I’m just in the minority here, idk, but usually my character playlists are full of music that reminds me of my character and their story. Which means I can update them as they have fun character arcs and changes.
Don’t get me wrong, I see the value and fun in making a playlist that a character would listen to. But I’m not loving the idea that that’s the only kind of character playlist that can or should exist.
Also, if you don’t like the contents of someone’s playlist that they’ve dedicated to a character you also like. You can simply, not listen to it? Wild idea.
The assumption that a 25 year old and a 40 year old dating is inherently bad or inherently fine is also an issue. Generally speaking, I would call it a red flag, but I also think the meaning of red flag has been fucked up by the internet as well.
For me, it’s a red flag relationship because there are more scenarios where it’s unhealthy than where it’s healthy. However, I also don’t think it’s fair to immediately jump to grooming or predatory behaviour unless - like someone else in this thread said - they have a history of that.
TL/DR: Things can have Bad Vibes but actually be fine sometimes. Your gut feeling isn’t always right.
I wish age gap discourse hadn't spiraled the way it has because I want there to be a safe space to say "Men in their 40s who date 25 year olds aren't predators, they're just fucking losers"
Reblog if you genuinely support asexuals
It terrifies me that there’s so much raging passion in the lgbt+ community that insist on marginalizing asexuals and implying that asexuals don’t deserve to have safe spaces. There’s still so much acephobia so I just wanna know which blogs are genuinely supportive and a safe space for asexuals
