“What it means to be a big brother” - by Damian Wayne (Batfam x Reader)

I wanted to write a story with Damian as an older brother, and how he came to learn what it meant to…well, basically the title haha. And since quite a few of you lately asked for more Thomas, here we are. I hope you will like it :

Right there, with his new little brother in his arms, standing in front of his family…Damian didn’t dare to move an inch.

There wasn’t a muscle in his body that wasn’t tense.

In this exact position, things were going well, so he wasn’t about to move. Staying like this forever sounded more and more like a good plan.

Because if he did move…There was a chance he’d drop him.

“You don’t have to be so stiff you know ?”

Tim said, amused.

He was the one that was holding the baby just a few minutes ago, and was clearly not as stressed as Damian about it. He was also the one that laid little Thomas in his brother’s arms, and therefor was the cause of the “full body lockdown” Damian was going through.

Slowly, Damian turned his head towards Tim (he couldn’t move too fast, because there was a risk he’d drop the baby !) and said through gritted teeth :

“Yes I do. If I don’t, I might drop him !”

The word “drop” was resonating in Damian’s head, and it was the only thing he could think about.

Drop. Drop. Drop drop drop drop.

It was starting to lose it’s meaning, and only the fact that it would be terrible if he “dropped” something stayed in the boy’s head.

But then the baby moved, and Damian looked down instinctively.

His eyes fell upon his new little brother’s face and…He felt his heart drop.

What was this feeling ? Why, all of a sudden, did he feel overwhelmed and full of…something ? An emotion he couldn’t quite pinpoint.

It kinda made him want to cry.

His eyes glued to the little body in his arms, trying to understand this intense surge of emotions, he finally raised his head after a few seconds and said, a hint of disbelief in his voice :

“I’m-I’m a big brother.”

heres some sketches I did last night since I was working on some scenes in Black Myth Wukong for my OC/Reader Mei Mao. The OCS top 3 and left bottom and right are Lego OCs that I had long time since LMK Came out and after rewatching the show, I decided to revamped them a bit since I never posted them.

1st top: Windy- Kunming Dog: Member of the Elementals and they're Element is Wind Magic and the Loves interest of Macauqe in LMK

2nd top: Tatiana- Red Avian: Member of the Elementals and her Element is Fire and the love interest of MK in LMK.

3rd top: Belladonna- Demon/Human: Member of the Elementals and her Element Earth and the love interest of Red Son in LMK.

4 bottom: Sasha- Spider Monkey: Leader of the Elementals and her Element is Water and the love interest of Sun Wukong in LMK

5th bottom Middle: Lego version of Mei Mao.

6th Right: Momo: Cat and the Elementals pet cat.

Here's my Elder Cat Yaoguai Ying whom is also Mei's Mentor of sorts and the one who save and took them in and trained them how to protect themselves and taught them about the world.

Ying (英) means "Clever, Brave"

Ying is not like any other Yaoguais, Ying is calm and kind, and refused to harm humans. She is a good friend of The Keeper of the Black Wind Mountain and she and Mei went to the shrine when they Meet the Destined One.

I'll do that scene soon.

I almost for got this sketch! Here's Mei Mao's incarnation and Ancestor Qiáng Bào (強豹) meaning "Strong Leopard" in JTTW. They companied the others to the Journey to the west and they're a strong fighter and expert of dual blades

Very cute!!!

I finally managed to acquire a poncho in the style of the ones my characters in my comic wear and these are the first in a series of studies of it I’m making. Ponchos are very unusual and it’s wonderful that I no longer have to guess how they look if I’m caught with a strange pose.
