i do firmly believe that if your ffxiv starting city was ul'dah you have zero excuse for believing all lalafells are naive children. like that's just willful ignorance and a complete inability to accept contrast. i also believe that if you've played more than like 10 hours of ffxiv you have no excuse but very specifically ul'dah slams you in the face with like five separate lalafells that all occupy wildly different archetypes and none of them are "child". well maybe nanamo. but are you fucking kidding me? momodi is the greatest mafia donna thanalan's ever seen and she is one of the first like three people you meet!!!!!!

Odd OC Asks // 🍪 What is something that's sentimental to your OC?

For the most part, Jak doesn't really... deal in sentimentality, though after a few years of RP, a few people managed to make enough of an impression on her that there are a couple of things. I talk about that in this answer from a while back, concerning someone's OCs... who is no longer in-game! Other than that, it's her sketchbook, because it's almost like journaling for her - it helps her process her emotions, it helps her cool off, and sort out her thoughts. She's not good with words, and she only learned to read a couple years ago, but art is a passion, and drawing really helps her get it out. It's like an anthology of her mind - even if a lot of the representations within may not make sense to others, outside of the occasional portrait of her 'Wolf'... she's not exactly showing others the art, either. It's personal! It's like opening a window into her mind, or her thoughts at the moment, and that's... very vulnerable.
