"you should be at the club" incorrect "you should be at pirate weekend at the renn fair" well this we cannot refute.
Keyleth saw Percy when she was like 22 and was like oh so you can just make up titles? Sick.
Thinking again about how Dorian and Imogen play off of each other, now that we've met Zeru. Because Dorian's relationship with Zeru and Imogen's relationship with Relvin are very similar. Both Zeru and Relvin are emotionally distant not because they don't care but because they're not demonstrative. Both of them seem to have tried their level best for their kids but it was nowhere near enough for either. There's tension and distance in the relationship but not enough for it to be estranged, just enough for it to be difficult. Both Dorian and Imogen eventually ran away from home to travel and ended up becoming adventurers.
But as similar as their relationships with their fathers are, Imogen and Dorian have vastly different relationships with their mothers. Liliana was absent for most of Imogen's childhood and even now as much as Imogen would like to have a close relationship with her she doesn't feel that she can fully trust her given her involvement in the Ruby Vanguard and with Predathos. It's a relationship defined by separation and distance. Dorian meanwhile, seems to have been closer to his mother than he was to Zeru. Even though she's not made a proper onscreen appearance yet, she did appear in the memory Imogen overheard way back in episode 6. In that memory she was with Dorian and teaching him the song he would eventually use to summon Coriolis. A song which he instinctively hums when he's nervous to try and soothe himself. Even away from home, Dorian's mother seems to be a comforting presence for him. Which is a far cry from the source of tension, conflict, and uncertainty that Liliana is for Imogen. As similar as their relationships to their fathers are, Dorian and Imogen's relationships with their mothers couldn't be more different.
