Before his story was expanded in Untold Stories of the Blackest Night, Jonathan cane had a short two page cameo in the main plot of this comic series. This is the first time that Jonathan Crane was featured within Blackest Night, and the first time he gets the yellow lantern ring.

This version of Jonathan Crane is unique because he CAN’T feel fear (or any emotion for that matter) A side effect of the toxin. He wants nothing more than to have nightmares of the Dark Knight, to feel frightened again.

The ring gives him that power. As a yellow lantern, he can finally live up to his true potential. It just a shame that it’s temporary.

I’ve been wanting to take a shot at making a mask-less Arkhamverse design for a while since the mystery is just so damn taunting. I’m not sure if this will be my permanent design for him or not, but it is at least a placeholder, and I like it. Here are two variants before the Croc incident and one for after it.

I love your take on all the variants of Scarecrow, and honestly seeing them all in the same room was a delight I didn't know I needed but was pleased to experience all the same. Much love to the artist and all the delightful masters of fear.
