Also! Bonus old illustration from 2021. I always tried to make Bubblegums hair properly elastic. I thought it was more fun. No idea why I made Marcelines face show accurate, but bubblegums not.

I was doing art studies one night and I got distracted and sketched that Marcille on the left. And then last night when I was looking through my sketches I got distracted and sketched that one on the right.

So these are about a month or two apart. Only difference is that the one from last night I didn’t use reference (besides for her infamous facial expression) and just slowly cobbled together a figure and gesture that I felt fit. Always makes me feel like all this learnin’ is paying off when I can do that. : )
