Eddie looks confused by the question, until his eyes close in on the guitar pick sitting at the hollow of Steve’s throat. He looks much more alert after that, Adam's apple bobbing as he swallows. With a shaky exhale, he says, “it suits you.”

He was expecting a joke or witty comment, not sincerity, and it makes him pause. He takes in the deepening blush high on Eddie’s cheeks, the fist clenching around his jean-clad thigh, the way he can’t tear his eyes away from Steve’s neck.

He decides right then that he’s never taking off the necklace.

Being a Steddie fan is like...I have extremely strong and specific opinions about half a dozen or so Stranger Things side characters. Most of these characters have no more than a handful of scenes between them. Some of them don't even have names.
