We’re on a boil water notice but have water and power again, thanks y’all for your kind words! Electricity and service has been going in and out but for the most part things are pretty stable. The destruction from Helene has been hard to witness and I am so thankful we haven’t had to deal with anything worse in my personal life. We had trees fall but they luckily didn’t hit anything. Having to throw all of our food away was rough and we will be struggling with grocery money but that’s the worst of it for us. I have never seen this type of damage so far inland from a hurricane. 7+ hour drive to the closest beach and we’ve had entire hospitals under water, highways washed out, absolutely horrible flooding and wind. It’s terrifying.
