I decided to write a short drabble for Jimin’s birthday. It was inspired by Serendipity and The Little Prince. I am by no means an expert writer, nor is English my first language. But I hope you’ll like it.

{Park Jimin Drabble, 624 words}
Jimin was stuck. It was the clearest night of the fall as he was hiking, dragging his feet step by step on top of the nearest hill.
“Just a few more steps, and I’ll be there”, he said.
The snow was slowly falling and covering his reddened cheeks as he was panting to reach his destination. The warmth of his breath clouded the air with every step he took and the snow on which he walked was thick and very soft. His boots were getting stuck with every move he made walking forwards, as he was almost knee deep into snow. Although he was physically extremely fit, he underestimated the task of carrying a large telescope in his hands, hugging it tight on his chest, trying to keep his balance and hoping he wasn’t going to fall.
His body, wrapped into a soft, warm winter jacket and wool scarf made him look like a big blue marshmallow stubbornly marching ahead with a mission.
He simply wanted to see the stars.
In Seoul seeing stars clearly, was nearly impossible, as the air was really polluted all year long. But this night was something special, the sky was clear and beautiful, something completely miraculous, It was odd. Not to mention, it was his birthday.
“Snow in October, that’s a first”, he muttered to himself, stubbornly pushing forwards.
The black fuzzy hat he wore was too big for him and kept sliding down covering his eyes, so he kept fixing it, over and over again. He was clearly annoyed at this point, but the determination to do this right, and to do it now, was big. There was no point of returning, the only way was up.
He stumbled a few times, swinging from left to right, his eyes getting bigger every time the telescope almost met the frozen ground. He kept biting his luscious frozen lips and pressing them together so they wouldn’t be completely frozen and kept scrunching his nose, trying to mend an annoying itch.
The snow covered bench was right in front of him, just a few more steps and the top of the hill in the palm of his hands. There was a certain glow in his eyes when he realised there was nobody around and he could finally be alone. No noise, no people.
He slowly took his final step, pushing himself further, where the path was steep, a bit more dangerous and the snow was frozen over.
He slipped.
The life flashed before his eyes as he saw his precious telescope leaving his embrace, now lying in the snow before him.
“No, oh God. Not my telescope”, he said, panicked.
This is the fastest Jimin had ever moved. He charged to pick himself for the ground, dusting away the snow that was stuck on his clothes, and grabbed the beautiful bronze coloured telescope from the bag and into his embrace. He squeezed it tightly like it was the most precious thing in the whole wide world, caressing the lense praying nothing cracked. And nothing did, but he was still feeling defeated.
He was trying to stick the tripod legs into the frozen ground, but the energy wasn’t there anymore. Although he was tired, this was a big wish of his and he had a lot of determination. So he tried again and again.
Finally, all was set.
He took a deep breath, preparing himself for the magic on the other side. When he looked through the telescope, a quiet gasp escaped his mouth. Nothing was broken, everything was just fine.
The view was amazing, he had never seen so many beautiful, glowing and even shooting stars. It was like the universe gave him the most magnificent gift he had ever received.
As he stood there, freezing, the happiness he felt kept him warm and save. For every shooting star, he made a wish for people he loved, his family and his friends, for his dreams and goals. For him.
And so the little prince stood there, not wanting to leave, not even the cold moved his body as he was looking at the beauty that was so close, but so far away. He smiled so sweetly, even the moon got overshadoved by his brightness.
“I wonder,” he said, “whether the stars are set alight in heaven so that one day each one of us may find his own again… (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry- The Little Prince)
Happy Birthday, Park Jimin!

Walk Away
I didn’t want to talk about it anymore than I already had.Every time was the same excuse over and over before you went back out and did the same shit you told me not to do.You chose to leave a good thing at home for a couple one night stands. I think you expected me to keep the doors open and fall back into this toxic wasteland that has become our relationship. There’s no going back from this.No looking back,no more being that weak little girl too afraid of being alone to not see through all your bullshit.
You chose to walk the path that fucked up my heart and I wonder how could you when you know that I loved you? I can’t really blame you either I let this mess reach this far before everything blew up like a ticking time bomb.Look at the mess you made.
A screaming match as we stood in the middle of our apartment going back and forth as I walked in on you and yet another random woman.Only what pained me the most was that you brought her home.My one safe haven. The one place I could pretend we were normal. You weren’t a two timing asshole and I wasn’t that broken girl who let you walk all over her.
“Baby please, please don’t do this.” You plead but I didn’t want to hear it. The meaningless words you repeated every single time and it grew old.It was time for me to take my love on a sober road. I needed to be lonely in order to find myself and grow.
“I’ll get help. We’ll get counseling, whatever it takes.” Yet another promise on deaf ears as you put your fist through the wall when I told you I was leaving. You’d never raised your hand to me before so what changed when you decided to slap me?
I saw your sister the other day.She says you’re a mess without me.That you forgot how to live and as hard as I found it to believe I need you to get your shit together Gemini. I chose to walk away because we are toxic to each other. We would have only continuously hurt ourselves had I stayed.
I chose to walk away in order to find me and I want you to do the same not for me or anyone else but for yourself. What we had is broken beyond repair and no amount of missed calls and texts is going to change that.I’ve moved on in life and I’m happy. I hope one day you find self happiness as well.
You had my heart Gemini but I never had yours.
I loved you.Loved being the keyword there.

“Jin, I thought you said we’d be alone,” you panted, catching your breath against his bare chest as he pulled you into the closet. Your fingers gripped tighter around the bunched cloth of your dress in your hands. Your stomach was still fluttering from the teasing that had been so deliciously happening on his bed just moments earlier.
He peered through the slits of the closet door. “It seems I might have been wrong,” he exhaled, pushing you further back into the closet as the distant laughter of the boys leaked in from the living room. Jin turned back to face you with a nervous smile, his pink lips parting slightly. Your eyes widened into a glare. It had been weeks since you were able to get some alone time with your boyfriend. When he told you that the boys would all be out for the entire day, you jumped at the chance to see him. You had spent hours in the bathroom bending over your body in strange angles just to ensure that your skin was smooth and your face was clear. It appeared now that it was going to be a waste. “Babe,” he sighed, pressing his body against yours. The back of your head hit the wall gently. You clenched your jaw, attempting to maintain the harshness of your stare. He had other ideas. “Don’t be like that,” his voice dropped to a whisper as his hands travelled down your bare torso, over your navel and to the lace hugging your hips. He gripped the sides of your hips, pushing them so you were standing completely against the wall.

Who Told?
So this is a scene from a story that I’m working on called Together Till The World Ends. It’s an original story, but I hope everyone enjoys it. I have no summary but I’ll try to make one now. Any feedback or constructive criticism is much appreciated!! :)
Summary: Ellington Academy is a school for highly gifted assassins. Things have been going great for a long time until one day there’s a change within the school. Changes can be good and/or bad, but this change proves to be bad as the students within the school have their worlds turned upside down. The enemy is out to ruin their lives no matter what it takes. They worked so hard to create a strong united front, but will it all come crashing down because of the enemy?
