You know what I don’t get?  When fanfic authors apologize for long chapters.  It’s like?  You gave me bonus content, for free, and you’re sorry about it?  Bruh.  I have already named my firstborn after you.  Dude.

I’m from Germany, we put commas everywhere.

But I’m writing in English; so I spend 20% of my writing time just staring at a page, debating whether there should be a comma (or other kind of punctuation) or not.

my writing: please, please i’m begging just use normal punctuation for once in your terrible writing

But honestly,, one of my favourite things in FMA is when someone, terrified for their lives, ask Izumi who she is, because she just majorly kicked ass - and probably theirs -, and she shouts pridefully and sometimes pissed off “A housewife!”

Like, anyone else would come up with something along the lines off “Your worst nightmare, pal!”, “The one who’s going to kick your ass!”, “You haven’t heard of me yet? Well, then it’s about time! I’m (insert title and/or name here)!”, or even just their name. Yet Izumi is so proud to be a housewife, and probably completely content being just that, so that she introduces herself as such and such only. She doesn’t even give them her name.

Also, I like to think she does it to, at least slightly, humiliate them and make herself feel better. Among some other things, she stopped a river from flooding Resembool, fought against Greed and managed to hold her ground, took over an outpost in Briggs, and each time someone asked who she was, she basically told them “a person who, by definition, stays at home and takes care of the household most day, and by any means has no business whatsoever to be here, and you still couldn’t stop them”.

And I admire her for all of this! And Ed had better be proud to, more or less, carry on her -scary as hell - legacy!

hello everyone I would like to take a moment to remind all of you that Edward Elric is probably a househusband and a goofy dad as well and there’s also a high chance that, inspired by Izumi and Maes, he brags about his family and often refers to himself as a househusband thank you for your time

I have so many art ideas, but I don’t have the time or commitment to learn how to draw. I don’t want to practice. I just want to be good.
