Hello everyone! Since the followers on this tumblr have grown a little since I first started back in March, I've thought about doing a recap on the writing advice / craft posts I've done.

As you know, I am quite picky in calling in "writing advice", so these are much more meant to be like a "behind-the-scenes" "take-what-you-want" kind of posts.

How I feel when I'm writing and can manipulate the lives and events of an entire fictional world:

HMMMMMM, I wonder if perhaps lord Valthoraxe would just maybe qualify. He’s just the tyrannical ruler of the planet who is 8’8”, with dark purple stone like hide with a faint orange glow emitting from the shallow cracks in the skin. Not to mention the many bone visible through the skin, the cybernetics, and the sharpened fingertips.

Which OC is very obvious in a crowd? Is it because of their clothes, behaviour, species, or something else? Do they like it?

Hello gentlemen, time for that important reveal for my work in progress fantasy novel Alterra.

While it is a fantasy novel at it’s core, it is still a bit of a lie. Several factions in the story are heavy sci-fi, with their prevalence increasing over the course of the story. Next week I’ll either talk more about the magic system or about some of the monsters.
