The character creation rules for SexyTime Adventures are intentionally sexist. When it comes to choosing your looks, you only get one choice: various flavors of boobular. And then I started thinking - oh god. What if character creation was putting together paper dolls where your only choices sexualized your character?

And then this happened.

I tried to draw her more broken, but this is as bad as I could make myself draw it. I also originally wanted to have every head have the exact same face, but then I decided that I could have my feminist satire and show some diversity too.

Performing ridiculous masculinity?

I threw out this question on Google+, but I thought I'd post here too. So in STA, all female adventurers have the following special moves: Sexy Fu Once per combat, you may choose to re-roll any die by choosing to do one of the following: Narrate how your character is attacking the enemy from a boobs-and-butt stance while making your best attempt to demonstrate that pose. (No cheating now. Make an honest effort.) Or: Narrate how your character is attacking the enemy while you, the player, make Inappropriate Pornface. (Again, no cheating.) Too Hot to Fail Once per session, you may choose to re-roll any die rolled as part of a social interaction with NPCs. Make your best case for why they should do what you want, then describe how circumstances are contriving to make your character look particularly sexy. (No “my boobs are big” or “my hair looks great”. Try for descriptions that might be found in a romance novel or slashfic.) ---- In the current version, The Dude (because there is only one male adventurer per campaign) does not have an equivalent special move. I am, however, re-thinking that. So what can I have The Dude's player do that would play up ridiculous performance of masculinity? Junk thrusting? Ridiculous flexing? Help me out! The more over-the-top, the better!

SDCC Showcase: Warrior Wonder Woman!

Had an absolute blast wearing Warrior Wonder Woman at SDCC. Surprisingly, I made it all day hauling around the incredibly heavy shield, proving that the dedicated lifting these past few months has yielded some results!

For anyone who hasn’t seen this costume before, it’s an original collaboration between artist Tess Fowler and I. I’ve always adored Diana’s Amazon roots, and wanted to pay tribute to that aspect of her legacy. Tess helped me flesh out the design, and then I went to work on the costume!

I'm sitting next to a stack of Sailor Moon manga that I intend to skim over lunch. So I guess that Fall of the Silver Imperium hack of Thou Art But A Warrior is probably going to happen.

But not until after SexyTime Adventures. Because, c'mon.
