We went to the beach yesterday with my daughter, who is 11 months old. Afterwards we stopped at Crabby Joe's which has brown craft paper on the tables and free crayons, so I drew my daughter in her watermelon swimsuit. Yes, that's as cute as it sounds.

Funny you should mention that. Instead of Spout Lore, female adventurers get the basic move Don't Worry Your Pretty Head. On a hit, a man tells you what you need to know.

Yeah, I suppose I should link the two. This is more meant to be an art/game design blog. But it's kind of inevitable that feminism is going to spill over here.

This past weekend I was lucky enough to go to GenCon. Among the many, amazing games that I got to play, I was lucky enough to participate in a long-form game of Apocalypse World, which is only the best tabletop roleplaying game in the history of forever. Yes, better than mine, by a factor of one million.

This game gave me, like, all the feels. So I might be bombarding you with drawings that I haven't been able to get out of my head, over the next little while. I also took a lot of photos, of things both good and bad, and might post links to my blogging exploits elsewhere. Sadly, a playtest of SexyTime Adventures did not happen. But that's okay. You can't have everything.

I'm finally finished with all but one of my freelance projects! Hurrah! Which means its time to turn my attention back to other projects - my own! I'm currently putting some polish on my crazy Dungeon World hack - SexyTime Adventures, ("SexyTime Adventures: the RPG - a game where the men are men and the women are sexy") since the hope is to maybe playtest it at GenCon.

I'd honestly forgotten how funny some of what I'd written was. For instance, the Cleric description, which is intended to go with the above sketch:
