I honestly love the use of visual motifs in Heartstopper. It's really cool, and honestly I just love the use of stuff like this in fiction in general as someone who looks into things a bit analytically.
... yes this was an awkward thing to say. I cried at this scene still, btw.
The growing friendship between Nick and Tao, as well as the between Nick and the rest of Charlie's friend group in general, is also just amazing considering where Nick was at before.
