When I started doing art, I did it traditionally and would tape the ones I really liked to my wall. Now I do more digital than traditional, so I’ll put the ones I really like here, with an occasional writing piece.

you do know that when jewish and romani people say “never forget” we mean “learn about the holocaust so you can recognize the warning signs of facism and genocide” not “repeatedly bring up the holocaust whenever anything bad happens and exploit our pain and trauma to make people care about your cause” and when we say “never again” we mean “take action to prevent any stage of genocide on any scale by any means, hold collaborators responsible and don’t be complicit” not “only care about genocide when it’s too late”, right? or did you think it was just a fun catchphrase?
It’s been a hell of a year. A lot has happened for all of us, a lot has happened for me. I’ve taken opportunities, I’ve let some slip by. I’ve lost a lot, without getting a chance to say goodbye. Without getting a chance to be there in the way I would’ve liked. While it’s bittersweet, I’m glad I got to be here and say goodbye with you guys. It’s something special to be able to just be together as a way of saying goodbye, without worrying about having to give some sort of memorable speech to make the moment special. Again, it’s been a hell of a year, and I’m glad I got to spend it with you guys.
Momento mori, unus annus; momento vive

Really glad I finally finished this piece; they’re a character from Blake Grey and the Eldritch by @brynwrites (they’re really cool, you should check them out)
It took me a while to finish, but that’s just because I had a small identity crisis in which I forgot how to shade with color in a drawing and started questioning whether or not I actually knew how to shade things at all haha (hence why I went with a black and white aesthetic)
