I finally have a character to vent my auditory processing frustrations for once.
This started out as a bunch of vent doodles with Zim actually quoting stuff I have actually done in real life. Like word for word. (I’m kinda dramatic and do talk to people like that on the daily. Also “squinting to hear better” is such a mood and “bleeping” when you gave up trying to understand…also mood. Screaming cause auditory overloaded.. running away to hide somewhere….saying “raise your volume to match my volume” then immediately freaking out when they’re too loud…. yeah all things I’ve done. I’m undiagnosed but I’m pretty sure I got some type of audio processing issues.)
Then it kinda transformed into a post-florpus zadf comic about Zim learning what human brain glitches are…which Dib would know a lot about being in and out of the crazy house all the time….cus I’ve been having a lot of feelings about these two recently.
If we’re following my loose timeline probably happens sometime after this (give or take a few months or weeks)

Yes I’m implying that they are both on the ADD/autism spectrum
I do think Zim has APD moreso then something being wrong with his “physical” hearing. It’s very selective on what he hears and what he doesn’t.
Yes. Dib is just eating spoonfuls of honey as they chill and watch tv and you shouldn’t judge him for it.
