What is it that makes people struggle so much with nuance in characters? Not everything is cut and dry, black and white. You can have a situation where both characters are in the wrong. You can also have a situation where just because something one of the characters did led to something bad happening that doesn’t make them the worst person ever. Just because you love a certain character doesn’t mean that their romantic interest is a horrible person if it turns out they don’t love them back. Nuanced, complex, flawed characters are what makes fiction so interesting and relatable.

This thing keeps following me around bargain bins at the stores I go to.

I already discussed this in the Discord server, but I can really see one song in particular making the show.Crazy For You by Madonna was released on the Vision Quest soundtrack. The film came out in Spring of 1985, and the main actor was Matthew Modine. It would fit the summer love vibe nicely imo. With ties to the show with Modine, and the year 1985, and the theme in general, I feel like this would be a great choice. via /r/StrangerThings
