the alien in front seems alarmed. “no, no, we all come in peace, why would you-”

“oh.” you sigh dejectedly. “i just- we have a really bad president. like really evil bad, i just thought-” you start to tear up.

the alien places a hand on your shoulder. “hey now, it’s okay, maybe you can tell us all about him and we’ll- we’ll see what we can do.”

I get it, you look at the world and think “I don’t wanna go out there!  It’s scary out there!”  And you’re right, the world can be a terrifying place.  But it can be an amazing place too.  It’s full of so many wonderful things.  But if you let fear control you, you’ll never see them.

Ya’ know, I remember this one episode of Underdog/Tennessee Tuxedo I watched where Tennessee and Chumley go to see this professor friend of theirs, and he tells them how modern bullet could easily penetrate medieval armor.  But then the Underdog episode plays, and Riff Raff and his crony get away by wearing medieval armor to protect themselves from the bullets.
