Continuing my love for a boy.
The first time I read chrono crusade, genai didn't really stand out to me, but he's definitely my favorite now.

Please accept my terrible doodles
Hi, I'm really fucking late, but on the idea of pronunciations, I've been reading Viede as veyed
But the anime calls him Veedae and I need a second opinion. Have I just been butchering a good boy's name for years???
Genai = Jen-eye, or Gen-eye? (or Jenny :P) Aion = Ay-on or Eye-on?
Okay so I just Googled to get an idea of what Genai actually means…it’s a village in Iran apparently, so it’s Persian? But also the name of a water polo guy? Either way I didn’t get a pronunciation for either one so uh…I think in my head it’s JEN-eye. Just checked and that’s how the Japanese dub of the anime pronounced it too, which…doesn’t necessarily make it right but they probably are close….h-hopefully.
Aion is almost certainly named after the deity of eternity as a contrast to Chrono (the god of empirical/measured time is Chronos), so Eye-on. At least according to this thing I found. That matches with how I say it in my head, too, which might also be influenced by the anime. Not sure.
…Actually in hindsight Aion’s powers in the anime match his name well. As well as the idea of him being a constantly-returning symbol of evil as long as it exists. I’ll give you that one, Gonzo.
As a lesbian, this makes me feel very comfortable and welcomed. Thank you, friend.
it costs $0 to respect lesbians and listen to what they have to say

Ew, actual ship stuff
(Please forgive shitty proportions, I only had pens available)
