As someone whose system leans anti endo, what the hell happened with the Yaelokre server? I honestly could not give less of a fuck if endos are in the server, because everyone’s going to be in the server. So what if they’re “problematic”? It’s a community space. As long as the mods have proper information in the information section about OSDDID then so what?

That’s like going into somebody else’s house and getting pissed off that they have alcohol as someone who is anti alcohol, and then demanding they throw out the alcohol because it offends you. If you are uncomfortable with the people in a space— leave or block. The internet is not a safe space.

Spaces that are not dedicated to systems should not have syscourse in them because it’s not a system space. Please do not try to force system issues into a space that is not for systems.

Honestly I find it really funny that people don't realise that safe spaces have evolved into something inherently exclusionary. They also tend to become echo chambers because of that. I swear, every safe space we've been in has been toxic as hell.

I don't like safe spaces because of that. I believe I saw somewhere that the original intent behind safe spaces was to be like "hey you won't be hatecrimed here", and then the internet took that and ran with it.

I’m curious what language people use as a default for systems whose preferred terminology isn’t known.

I think I’m curious because I’ve tried to set up defaults in the past based on stuff like origins — but that was just largely useless. I personally default to parts language now, simply because that’s what I use myself, and it helps me. I want to show it and use it more.
