i literally don't get the premise of chalice of the gods like. if the romans never see or interact with the gods how are they meant to get not one not two but THREE letters of recommendation. terminus is just unavailable for all of october because everyone is hitting him up for letters. do the lares count? are percy and annabeth going to roll up with three letters from olympus only for everyone else to have their aunt's neighbor's lar as their sponsor? or is this just because they're greek and have more access to the gods. are greeks considered something like international students? the three letters of recommendation from gods are new romes answer to outlandish international student tuition rates.
