Rainy Days

Pairing: Felix x gn!reader Genre: Fluff like a lot of fluff Warnings: Nothing just fluff W.C.: 0.4k (444) A.N.: It's raining where I'm at and I'm extra sensitive on rainy days so just a little cofort fic for myself and anyone who finds this Song req: Rainy Days - V (duh)

Today just wasn't the day. You woke up late, nearly missing the bus and you had an essay due. But the rain didn't seem to help. Usually, rain is a soother for you. But it also made you a lot more sensitive.

After arriving home, the apartment was still empty. Felix wouldn't be home since he's still out at schedules. You desperately wanted to be held. The day just seemed to drag and the rain, neverending. It was getting tiring.

As much as you wanted to call Felix, you couldn't. You knew he had his job to deal with and interrupting it wouldn't make it any better.

You sighed. You took a quick shower and settled for Felix's hoodie and cologne intead. The hoodie perfectly engulfed your figure. There wasn't much use for the cologne since his smell was on every surface possible, not that you mind.

The togepi plush that Felix had won you on your third date sat at the other end of the bed. You settled under the sheets before reaching to grab it. It wasn't the best subsitute but it was enough.

You were exhuasted but it continued to pour outside. This causing you to be sleepless.

It wasn't til' late into the night that Felix finally arrived home. After cleaning up a bit, he slipped in bed beside you. He originally thought that you'd already gone to sleep already. So he was a bit surprised when your body tensed to his touch.

"You're finally home." You turn to face him, out stretching your arms.

Felix welcomed you into his embrace and you just melted. Oh how you craved his warmth and now to have it was amazing.

He nodded his head along with your words with a smile on his face. "Yeah... I'm home, Angel. Why aren't you asleep yet."

"The damn rain. You know how I am." You slightly grumble. Felix chuckles and pulls you in closer.

"How about your day? How was it?" He said as he softly stroked the back of your head.

You just heavily sighed and said, "Ass. Torture even. But all better now that you're here." Your arms are wrapped around his waist and you feel the need to hold him a bit tighter as if he might disappear on you.

Your boyfriend hummed along to your words and continuously stroked your hair. "Well I'm glad I could make it better." He tilts his head down and kisses you on the forehead. "I love you."

When he doesn't get a reply he feels a little hurt. But then he hears your soft snores and can't help but smile to himself.
