Kida Had Been My Pal While I've Been Sick. Apparently When You're Pregnant All You Want To Do Is Lounge.

Kida had been my pal while I've been sick. Apparently when you're pregnant all you want to do is lounge. It's been nice because I've been able to keep an eye on her. Her milk came in yesterday, and today the little kitkats seem especially active. I can feel them moving, and she might even be having contractions, although he water hasn't broken yet. Shouldn't be long now!

very exciting news

Cosmia’s dam, Shizuka, had six healthy puppies last night. And they’re all yushoku! That more than doubles the number of yushoku Kishu here in the states. Very cool!

Just reblogged one! But you can’t see the pups super well. I’m guessing later today he’ll post some newborn pics, so I’ll post those when they’re up!

Ohhh man, a couple summers back I drove to Seattle (from St. Paul)... That was a trip. I had a whole month to do it though, and I took my time, so I’m not sure if it’d be worth it to go all the way to Seattle in terms of driving time vs time actually doing things.

I’m not sure what route you’re thinking of taking, but if you’re taking 94, you should definitely spend some time in the badlands in western ND. Theodore Roosevelt National Park is absolutely beautiful, and really unlike anything else I’ve seen. I know you can camp there, too, although I’ve never done it. Here’s some pictures from the last time I was there (featuring ACTUAL WILD HORSES):

Farther west, I have less camping-related advice, because I made my trip pre-dogs and mostly stayed with friends/family. I stayed in Bozeman on my way out and Missoula on my way back, and both are cute little Montana towns that are worth exploring if you’re into that kind of thing (I’m especially fond of Missoula). I know there’s plenty of parks in Montana, with Yellowstone and Glacier being popular, but I’ve never been to either.

I feel like I had more to say, but it’s gone now... Shoot. Oh, one more thing, when do you plan to go? Because if you’re going now, I wouldn’t recommend driving through any mountains... I get fricken terrified driving in mountains even without snow.

YO DOGBLR

Now that I’m above the poverty line, I want to take a road trip with NiteHawk. Only problem is: I have no idea where to go!

Here’s the plan: we’re starting in Minneapolis, MN and looking to go pretty much straight west or kinda loop around if need be. Think between Minneapolis and Seattle, but we might not end up going that far. Plan is to take 5 days off work + two weekends so ~8 days with one day left over for recovering.

Here’s what we want: HIKING. CAMPING. AMAZING SCENERY. Photo ops. Maybe cheap dog friendly hotels you’ve stayed in? Off leash hiking is great, but on leash is just fine too. Maybe not too back-woodsy because I am still an amateur when it comes to camping n shit.

Where are your fave places to go? Please give me advice. Thx.
