I'm A Little Late With My Review, But I Made It In Part 3, We See A Glimpse Of Wells Being Weird With

I'm a little late with my review, but I made it 😌 In Part 3, we see a glimpse of Wells being weird with that comment of 'What happened to all those little girl dresses?' 🤢 Also, the fact that Gloria and Y/n live with Wells? I thought Gloria and Y/n lived together, but Y/n being forced to live with Wells kind of explains more why she's uncomfortable. She lives with him; therefore, she is being forced to be around him. I'm just surprised too that Gloria moved in with this guy even though I think they've only been dating a few months? 😬 If that's the case, Gloria and him move fast and I feel like maybeee this is hinting the relationship was rushed.

It's stated that Gloria and Y/n used to live in Texas...so how did Gloria even meet this guy? Maybe online? But why would she be so willing to just pack up and force her daughter to leave everything behind? It's safe to assume they both grew up in Texas, so to date a guy for a few months and move in with him is a huge leap.... Maybe love makes you do crazy things? 🤡 It's stated in ch 1 that Y/n has only known Wells for a few months, so maybe the reason Gloria was so comfortable moving was cause her and Wells had been dating a while, but maybe Y/n never met him until a few months ago? Thats definitely a possibility.

Idk something just doesn't feel right with that relationship 🤣 I love how medically accurate chapter 3 was. I literally had to do concussion research and reread ch 3 just to catch all the symptoms since I missed them all lol the tiredness, the headache, the way Y/n was falling asleep in Billy's car, the way Y/n got moody with Stu and Billy in the car...all of those showed that something was wrong. Billy and Stu picking Y/n up was cute and all, but we all know they secretly want Y/n fully dependent on them. Cute how they both quickly knew something was wrong in the car tho 🥺

The Stu vs Y/n staredown was unexpected. Y/n shouldn't have snapped, but Stu shouldn't have been condescending. The fact that he had the audacity to be like "You couldn't even last a couple hours in the hospital" just shows his lack of empathy for what Y/n went through and he's trying to show her that she 'needs' him.... don't make me laugh bro, she doesn't need NO MAN 😭🙄 'DOn'T COME CrYinG tO ME' Nah bro, I'll go cry to my mom instead 🙃

Yes the Gloria and Wells situation is weird!! That's part of the reason Y/n is so bothered by it, but let's just say Gloria's smart! They're there for a reason and it'll get revealed soon! but yeah, Gloria's def the type to date a guy for awhile before he lets them meet Y/n.

Also thank you for noting the medical accuracy 😭 my dad is a neurologist so i've been told quite a bit about head injuries!! i also did a bit of googling to confirm everything lol

i'm glad you liked the car moment!! i wanted something a little cute and domestic, especially bc they are definitely trying to make Y/n dependent on them so that she can't leave, plus it's not like they can make a real move on her, dating Sidney and Tatum is important for their plan and they know that Y/n isn't the type to (knowingly) be a side piece...but that's going to be shown a little more clearly in the next part :)

Also I feel like both Billy and Stu are so good a perceiving people, especially the one person they consider worthy of their genuine care, that they just instantly knew something was up. They can read Y/n better than she can read herself at this point.

also yeah both Stu and Y/n were being problematic that morning! Y/n's attitude was a combination of a lot of things. She was stressed and concussions can lead to mood swings so that was the main reason, but let's just say that Billy and Stu knew what they were doing when they were being a little touchy with their girlfriends. And, even though she doesn't fully realize it, it kind of worked. She was a tiny bit jealous and she's never really felt jealous over a guy before (especially the boyfriends of her best friends) and that, paired with some subconscious guilt and her concussion led to a bit of a tantrum. She wasn't the center of Stu and Billy's attention for one minute and she immediately chose violence😭 she's so real for that lowkey.

And on Stu's side, at first the fact that she was uncomfortable was kind of good for his ego. Like aw, she's jealous, she cares🥺, but then when she saw that she was actually unwell, he felt a tiny bit bad. Not guilty, just a tiny bit worried that something was going on with her head injury. So when he finally decided to ease up, and Y/n's reaction was to not only reject him but then to straight up not listen to him?? Stu was not having it, and it bothered him so much he low key forgot to act 'normal' and exposed his lack of empathy for a second.

also you’re actually so funny 😭 humble him!! he wishes he could go cry to his mom 🙄

Gloria already raising her eyebrows at Billy and Stu picking Y/n up is me 💀 and them calling Y/n so much over the weekend does make it seem like they care too much, but Gloria isn't positive since 1. She barely knows them and 2. She probably thinks she's being too analytical since she's gotta know they have girlfriends. She probably figures that it's very unlikely that they would try anything if they have girlfriends.

Part of me is like honey, don't u think it's a little weird how much they called? 😭 Don't u think it's weird how they offered you a ride when they knew Gloria could just drive you? But I also understand why she isn't thinking anything of it bc of her concussion and she probably just figures that their just being protective friends. Y/n saw how worried they were in the hospital, it makes sense for her to view them as being overprotective friends since she knows them pretty well.

Them calling Y/n so much and them harassing the receptionist to try to see her at the hospital gives off those protective and caring vibes, so I can't even fault Y/n for brushing it off. Y/n thinks she almost got murdered, so them going out of their way to make sure she gets to school safe fits how Y/n views them. Billy and Stu are constantly teetering on that line of wanting more, but not wanting to scare Y/n off. Y/n's not stupid, it only takes one wrong move to ruin everything.

Also the fact that Billy baby really thought about killing me in ch 1 for 'keeping secrets' ✋ BOY I KNOW YOU DIDN'T JUST THINK THAT. You and Stu gave me a concussion, your lucky I haven't just decided to makeout with Ray 🙄 keep trying to make me jealous with Sid and Tate and I'm bringing Ray home to meet mom pronto. Side note - Y/n BETTER brush them teeth and use listerine mouthwash after hurling. I know that breath gotta be lowkey musty after that 😭😭

Yes!! Gloria knows! Everything! honestly, we know the real reason Stu and Billy are dating Tatum and Sidney, and that it's all about their big murder plans, but having girlfriends really does make them look less threatening! definitely a plus, especially since Gloria hates the ida of Y/n dating, especially now that Y/n's the same age she was when she got pregnant.

I know Y/n isn't being the smartest rn 😭 (especially considering that she's so smart sometimes!! good head on her shoulders, she just doesn't listen to it when it comes to BIlly and Stu 💀) part of it is her sheltered background when it comes to guys, but most of it is wishful thinking. Billy and Stu are her first good friends in awhile, and yeah, she has Sid and Tatum, but it's different with them. They're doting in a way that she's never experienced, and maybe she's starting to develop a bit of a crush that she will never consciously admit to (which we're about to start seeing in chapter 4!!) and so she smooths everything over, especially because Billy and Stu have a response for everything.

Also I love how you worded the part of them teetering on the line of wanting more, but not wanting to scare Y/n off!! They're manipulative as hell (we know this!!), so that definitely gives them some leeway, and they're taking advantage of the fact that Y/n's in a fragile state. In fact, they want to push her into an even more fragile state (Ghostface might be popping up soon...he's been a little quiet...just saying), because that makes getting what they want easy. After all, it's hard to feel weird about a friend holding your hand and coddling you while a murderer is after you.

ALSO YOUR COMMENTARY AT THE END HAS ME IN TEARS, billy switched up so fast!! i think his mommy issues make him feel betrayed SUPER easily,, so all it takes is one little thing for him to be like wow🙄 i see how you really feel (good thing he's not as impulsive as Stu) but on the bright side!! he only considered killing you for like two seconds, but then decided that he'd likely regret it in the long term!! cute boyfriend material <3 LMAO

honestly maybe Y/n should go off and make them jealous, they're super fake giving her a concussion like that! and during the school year!! acting like people don't have class and homework and grades 🙄

hi just wanted to let y’all know that after hearing that some of the dialogue was really similar to another fic on wattpad, i looked up the wattpad fic to check, there were some moments that were really similar (mainly in dialogue) so i edited chapter 1 of final girl a little!

fic copying is something i take super seriously (i know what it’s like to have someone blatantly copy your fic and it really sucks) and overlapping with a fic on accident has been something i’ve been scared of since i first started writing!! 

i also checked out the second chapter of the wattpad fic and thankfully, it looks like me and that author took our stories in different directions so this is the only chapter i had to edit :) 

none of the plot has changed after editing!! I just worked on making the dialogue a little more distinct so that i could keep working on this story in good conscience! idk if this makes me seem like a plagiarizer but i would hate for anyone to think i copied a story :) !! 

anyways just letting yall know in case you go back and feel like something’s off, honestly none of the changes are note worthy enough to change the plot! I just wanted full transparency bc i hate when i look at something again and it’s edited with no explanation lol

Like usual, the bell that signifies the end of homeroom rings while I’m in the middle of a sentence. Mrs. Ramirez may be strict about tardies, but she always wraps up her announcements early, which means most of homeroom is filled by basic high school chatter. 

On the first day, that made me incredibly nervous. I didn’t think I’d have to start over at a new school almost two months into my junior year of high school, but now that I’ve been in Woodsboro nearly a month, the space in between instructions doesn’t bother me. The people here have been a lot more welcoming than I thought they’d be. And one of those surprisingly welcoming people is Casey, who’s patiently standing by her desk as I pick up my backpack. 

“Are you doing anything this weekend?” The question surprises me a little more than it should. I’ve been invited to a lot of things since I first moved here, and even when nothing’s going on I normally run into one or two of my friends on the weekends. Usually Stu and or Billy.
