You look in the mirror as you close the face cream's lid. As your fingers trace across your lips, you notice how dry they have become. With a sigh, you reach for the drawer, where your lip balm should be, but it's not. You look everywhere for it, only to be disappointed when you can't find it. It eventually gets on your nerves. Was the excessive amount of work you did this week not enough to drive you insane? You're not usually like this. You're never like this.

"Looking for something?" a voice asked as you pushed the drawer closed. Your gaze followed the voice, eventually revealing Joshua. You nod, sighing to soothe yourself. "Lip balm," you pause and lean against the wall. "Have you seen it?" you add. You let out another sigh as Joshua shook his head.

Yeah, it was just a lipbalm, but it just... just frustrates you. So much. Was it a result of working too much? Stress? Exhaustion? No idea. But Joshua's presence did, however, at least somewhat ease the annoyance you were feeling. You shut your eyes, allowing the frustration that was building inside of you to subside.

And that didn't go unnoticed by Joshua. After approaching the bed and putting the blanket over the two of you, Joshua gave you a forehead kiss. A gentle, comforting one. You held his hands as you rested your head on his chest.

"I can't remember where I put it." you mumbled. Joshua lifted up your chin to meet his gaze. Having put on lip balm after practice, his lips were gleaming. Without warning, he shot you a silly smile and smashed his lips against yours, leaving your lips glowing with the lip balm as well.

"There," he smiled. "you don't need a lip balm anymore." he added, giggling. You raised your brows as you looked at him. That was definitely unexpected, especially given how sudden it was. When Shua noticed your pink cheeks, he smiled broadly, proud of himself that he was able to make you smile. Being the cute person that he is, he never fails to make you blush.

"That was... sudden," you muttered, unable to contain your smile, as you rubbed the side of your lip and looked away. "It is a win-win; you got lip balm on your lips and I also stole a kiss." Shua chuckled. And there you were, flashing that foolish smile. Just what Joshua wanted. Wrapping his arms around you, Joshua caressed your hair.

"Is there anything you want talk about?" his voice calm as he asked you. You take a deep breath before replying, "It's just about work," you pause. "nothing much, but I always need to be there for everything... plan things, lead the workers-" you sighed, unable to continue your sentence.

"I know it's easier said than done," Joshua paused, loosening his grip on you. "you should take a break, please." he added. You look at him, unsure of how to respond. "Please?" With a whispery voice, Joshua pleaded as he tightened his grip around you. Sighing, you nod your head as you smile. "Okay... It's not a bad idea." you spoke, earning a giggle from him.

You haven't taken a single break throughout the entire year, so he was correct after all. It would not hurt to take a little break because your business was currently operating smoothly. In fact, it was really good.

Joshua held you close the whole night, reassuring you that it was normal to mess up things or stress out sometimes. But that doesn't mean you'll not give yourself time and become workaholic.

"You should always put yourself first before anything else." Joshua spoke, running a hand over your hair as the moon shone brightly through the window's slightly open pane. "I'm an exception, though. I put you first before anything else." With a smile on his lips, he added.

You smiled and replied, "Fair enough, I also put you first." earning a kiss from Joshua.

Sure, Mingyu is the one to fall sick most of the time and you always stay by his side, cook for him, give him medicines on time, take day offs from work, until and unless he gets fully recovered. But, when it comes to you, it's more like you have to be prepared because Mingyu will cling onto you like a koala, kiss you all over your face, also scold you a little because you never really tell him that you're sick as he is already busy with schedules and do twice the work you do until you get recovered. Ofcourse he gets more sick than you after.

Not long after your colleagues called Mingyu over to pick you up, he arrives at your office and there you were; sniffing, coughing and curled up on your chair.

Mingyu's face softens at the view. As he sits infront of you, on the floor, it doesn't take long for him to realise you're not even able to speak or open your eyes completely.

His heart drops as he stares at you, silence takes over the room.

You slightly open your eyes and find a similar figure infront of you, making the corners of your lip curve into a weak smile.

"love..." you speak, your voice more like a whisper.

"Why didn't you tell me?" said Mingyu, his voice more disappointed and upset than mad.

You slowly try to get your hand out of the layers of blankets you had wore – to feel warm, reaching out for his hand.

Mingyu holds your hand and stares at you, with sad and concerned eyes. He feels your hands as warm as a cup of hot coffee.

You take a deep breathe before speaking, "I was planning to tell you... you just got a vacation after such a tough schedule, do you think I'm that bad of a girlfriend to ruin it for you by making it about me?" in the most raspy and breathy voice ever.

You softly try to laugh it off but your throat makes you cough instead.

"And you think I'm that bad of a boyfriend to enjoy my vacation while the love of my life is here, having a severe cold, even unable to open her eyes or speak properly?" said Mingyu, in a serious tone as his eyes were pierced to your face.

His gaze cold yet soft, his expression unexplainable.

You squeeze his hand and speak, "It's really okay, trust me.."

"No, it's not." said Mingyu as he was removing the layers of blanket you were wearing.

You keep staring at him softly as he focuses on taking his coat off and placing it around your shoulders.

Mingyu looks at you, but this time, his eyes were at ease, relaxed and soft.

"I'm sorry, love." said Mingyu as he caresses your hair, "I just can't stand seeing you in a state where you need to be taken care of and I'm not there for you." proceeded Mingyu.

His words sounded sincere and calm, his voice in a very low tone, but enough for you hear his soft voice.

You smile and caress his cheeks. "I know, you don't have to apologise."

Mingyu softly smiles and holds your arm to help you get up.

Once you both arrive home, Mingyu quickly gets a blanket and wraps it around you and carries you to the bedroom.

As he places you on the bed, he sits close to you and leans to brush your hair back to feel your forehead.

Ofcourse, it was as warm as boiling water. Or even worse.

"I already bought all the medicines you need on the way here including medicines for fever, coughs, sore throat, cold and I have warm water filled in this jar for you, make sure to drink it from time to time, okay? promise me you won't miss any of these things?" said Mingyu, faster than ever in one breath as he puts out his pinky finger forward.

You sigh and put your hand below his ear, "Calm down baby, It's not like I'm running away from you, am I?" you spoke as you stroke his soft and smooth skin.

Mingyu places his hands on yours and brings it to your forehead.

"Do you feel this?" said Mingyu before moving your hand, "Do you think I can calm down in this situation, love?" proceeded Mingyu.

You slightly look down and sigh, "I'm sorry... I always make you feel panicke-" before you could finish off your sentence, Mingyu cuts you off by placing his lips onto yours.

"Don't you dare think like that babe." said Mingyu as he was away from you just by an inch.

You stare at his eyes for a split second before looking away and smiling.

"Are you planning to get sick aswell?" you speak in a playful tone.

"Hm. As long as I can be by your side and help you recover." said Mingyu, caressing your hair.

You blush like an idiot. Though you think he won't notice as your face was already bright pink due to your fever, you were wrong.

Mingyu stares at you as if you are the most precious thing ever (you are <3) and definitely notices your face turning more redder and redder each second.

Mingyu quickly wraps one of his arms around your waist and one behind your head and pulls you close.

You lean your head on his chest and hear a similar rhythm and beat travelling through your ears, like soft music; his heartbeat.

"Do you want something to eat? I'll go and cook." said Mingyu as he moves a hair strand behind your ear.

You quickly shake your head as a no, "Just stay here and cuddle." you speak with your eyes closed, ready to fall asleep any moment.

Mingyu chuckles and covers both of you with a blanket. "I see, I work better than a medicine, hm?" said Mingyu before kissing your temple.

You smile and caress the side of his neck as you reply,

"You're my medicine."

Yes, you and Joshua have been dating for five years now. Yes, you still give him butterflies. Oh, this man is so in love with you that he can drop everything else and be with you 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

In order to spend the rest of the day with you, he even ends practice with the members early. Not to mention that he has hundreds of dates scheduled, so you get to choose where you want to go. The beach? oh well, guess what? He does not give a damn if it is nighttime; you are still going to the beach, even if it's just for a stroll. A dinner date in a fancy restaurant? All set, he already reserved a table at the city's most elegant restaurant.

Even the bare minimum from you puts him on cloud nine. What did he do to deserve you? God, he gets butterflies just looking at your face. Even when you just adjust his collar before heading out to dinner, give him a quick glance to make sure he is comfortable, or even just smile at him, he is o.v.e.r.j.o.y.e.d.

When he arrives home and finds you cooking food, he literally melts. He can't wait for the day you actually become his life partner. and all he wants when he gets home from a hard day at work is your comforting kisses.

He gets butterflies whenever he sees you wearing beautiful outfits on a date. You are so stunningly beautiful, it drives him insane. In a matter of seconds, all it takes is one glance at him from you to make his cheeks as red as a tomato.

And to be honest, it's the same for you. Two love birds ready to die for each other? Perfect. It's like Romeo and Juliet, but in real life. He simps for you, and you simp for him. No, actually, he simps wayyy more than you.

If he could describe how you make him feel through a song, it would undoubtedly be 'Butterflies' by Straykids.

"Baby you got me feeling butterflies, butterflies, 'cause you're my only butterfly, butterfly." You cannot tell me this is not how he feels when he looks at you.

Pick-up lines like "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" may seem corny to some, but Shua finds them to be kinda real. He says it half-jokingly, but he also kind of means it. Not gonna lie, did it actually hurt when you fell from heaven? It's a genuine question because you are too good to be true, it's quite literally.

"Baby, can I ask you something?"

"Hm? Go on."

"Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?"

And, well, the silliest conversation happens. Though Shua finds these lines corny, he does have a thought about it because you are just unreal to him. You're perfect.

Being in your arms melts him. There is nothing more soothing than feeling the warmth of your loved one's embrace around you.

His only desire in life is to hold you and never let go. Even if it means giving his all, he wants to protect you from harm.

Every time Seungcheol looks at you, he knows that he is falling deeper and deeper every day. But does he wish to stop? Absolutely not.

To him, you seem unreal. It's quite literally, he can't help it. It really feels as if you walked straight out of his dreams.
