yeah no one OWES you anything but when no one reblogs your shit even when you try to support others and this is a pattern that’s only gotten worse and worse over the years i think you have a right to be upset about it

don’t use emotional blackmail but you have a right as a creator to be upset when only 5% of notes are reblogs and most are your own

like i am saying this not only for my own posts it’s partly why now i will throw some people’s art or writing into my queue multiple times bc i see how few notes they have/few reblogs… like even sometimes an artist may have 1000 notes and only 20 reblogs (or even less)!

Reblogging is how stuff gets spread on this site. Liking a post does nothing to get that person’s work out there.

When you put time and energy into something and then even more to make a post to share it here and no one shares it? It makes you not want to post here anymore.

Why do you think so many creatives don’t post or use tumblr anymore? Part of it is the sheer lack of engagement.

I wish more people would be less entitled and remember that fandom especially is supposed to be about community and supporting and encouraging each other

i think about huaisang's rage a lot. it's not loud or boisterous like his brother's, not escalating or expeditious like jin guangyao's. it's like a breeze, silent, almost untraceable, but there. it's a rage that waited over a decade to age into fine wine, a rage to not only hurt but destroy.

I thought the difference between the brothers would be bigger, but looking at the flashbacks it makes sense.
