I see you as someone who is important and guiding me in life. But how is it that at the same time I have little respect for you? You are so tough that it makes me crumble.

You are toxic. I know you love me but how can you be like this to me. You belittle me and make me feel useless. You make me feel powerless. You make me feel weak when you are suppose to make me feel strong. I know you are trying to prepare me for the real world but the way you do it doesn't really help me in any aspect. I know people are cold I know the real world is tough. How can I learn to live when the person I need the most is the cruelest and toughest person to me. I know you care but learn to have patience with me.

I try to learn to control my emotions. I am really trying but it's hard when I'm stuck in the same space as you. I care about you deeply, but I think it's best to love you from a distance.

I guess it's hard for me to understand you. I really try hard to understand you but at times it seems it's a game of right or wrong or bad cop good cop.

I don't like how at times you take your issues or stress out on me. It is best to visit and see you ever so often. Maybe a weekend but not 5 months. I feel like it's 2018 all over again. I left because you were so toxic, I couldn't take it anymore. The environment was so toxic I was close to killing myself. I really do appreciate you and care for you, but I think it's best to distance myself to understand both myself and you. I want to give you the best care and love I can but at times I can't help but get so frustrated and overwhelmed with this. This is unhealthy.
