What if, instead of leaving when Wille did, Simon went back to sleep in his bed (he’d had a long night, it would make sense)? Wille would sit through two classes, getting more and more anxious because where the hell is Simon? Has something happened to him? He’d rush back to his room at lunchtime and find Simon still snoozing, all tucked up and cosy and smiling in his sleep. Wille would smile too, leaving the sandwich he made on the desk before quietly closing the door behind him.
