i think it’s astounding that people can actually build entire worlds in their heads and describe them in words. on paper. in a way that makes sense. 

people say their favorite trope is either Enemies to Lovers or Friends to Lovers, but mine is Rivals to Begrudging Friends to Best Friends to Protector-Protected to Lovers

when you’re sixty pages into writing your story and delete twenty of those pages bc you finally figured out the plot

*rubs hands together evilly* things are about to get interesting

does anyone else just immensely want to waste all the money you’ve saved up so you can buy floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and fill them even though you literally have a library card so you can actually have money? 

so no one ever explained what figures were to me and my mom and little brother were talking about them and i asked “wait what is that again?” and they started laughing at me.
