Summary: After getting used to the idea of just being her and her little daughter against the world. Autumn is proven wrong once again when fate has different plans for them.

A/N: The original prompt is from @hybridfanfiction ( their prompts are the cutest, check them out!) This is my first attempt on sharing some of my work and is also my first hybrid fic. I love the reader inserts but not a fan of the Y/N type thing so feel free to just imagine your name instead if you prefer! I have material to make this a series but will leave it as a one shot for now to see if you guys like it! I totally don't own the gifts.

‘’ I’m really sorry, Jinnie. I promise to make it up to you… Yeah, I know, Haneul misses you guys a lot too… I love you too, Jiminie! Yeah, I’ll see you guys soon.’’ - Autumn ended the call with a sigh before turning to the hybrid sitting next to her sleeping daughter in the back seat.- Sorry about that, my friends can be a little too much sometimes, we are going home now. - She smiled and he couldn’t stop himself from smiling back. His heart jumping in his chest at the way she said home, like she was implying he had a place there too. He had never trusted an adult human so quickly but he was able to catch her sweet scent on Haneul, long before meeting her and had decided that he loved the comforting feeling he got from it ever since. He felt comfortable and safe around her like he never had felt before around any human, because she smelled sincere and trustworthy, she smelled like good intentions and warm sunbathes - 

‘’ Mamma, please. I really, really like Tata. He is my best friend, and I told him everything about you and he likes you too! I want him to stay with us, so bad!’’ - With said hybrid taking a shower at the moment, Haneul felt like it was the best moment to beg her mom for something she had been wanting ever since she met the friendly boy. - ‘’ I know, little one, but that is not our decision to make… We need to let him choose what he wants to do.’’ -

 Autumn kept telling herself that she needed to be prepared for both outcomes. She had called Jin and Yoongi to ask for their opinion on what she was about to bring into their lives, they both were like her older brothers and Yoongi had experience with Hybrids so she figured they were the best ones to ask for advice from. They both seemed a little bit apprehensive about the fact that he was a stray but after expressing how comfortable her and Haneul felt around him, they agreed that if she felt good about it, giving him a chance to find a home with them would be the best she could do for him.

She had never thought about bringing a Hybrid home, but the sole idea of providing some sort of protection and comfort to the wounded boy seemed like the only reasonable way to go. Even so, she didn’t want herself or her innocent daughter to get hurt if he decided to reject their offer.- 

‘’Tata, Tata! You want to stay, right?!’’ - The loud shouts of excitement from her daughter, took away her focus from the soup she was preparing. She felt the embarrassment curl at the pit of her stomach at Haneul’s boldness, but played cool when she saw the two fluffy ears peek out from the door frame before the shy hybrid came through the door, standing there with her daughter in arms while she played with his ears and giggled her heart out.-

 ‘’ Take a seat, lunch will be ready in five minutes, and you can put her down’’ -Autumn sent him an apologetic look when her daughter refused to leave his arms, but he dismissed it with a smile, hugging Haneul even tighter and making her laugh louder. Autumn couldn’t stop the soft smile that draw itself across her face at the sight- 

‘’ I hope you like it, it’s Haneul’s favorite’’ - Autumn put the bowl of steaming soup in front of him to then take Haneul from his arms to the little girl’s dismay,she missed the way his eyes widen, his hands rapidly taking a hold of his tail so that it wouldn’t wag around and disturb them in any form. After a couple minutes of feeding Haneul, she realized that he wasn’t making any attempt to eat- 

‘’ Is something wrong? You don’t like soup? I can make some sandwiches if you prefer that! - His voice came out more panicked than he expected when he tried to stop her. He was just waiting for her to eat first and then give him permission to eat. Her heart tightened in her chest and she wondered what kind of life he must have lived and what kind of people he had encountered to believe that he needed permission to eat his own food. The thought made her sick.- 

‘’You don’t need permission to eat your food here, Taehyung. But go ahead, eat up, and there is plenty more so eat as much as you want’’ -She assured him, a sad smile finding its way across her lips as she watched his eagerness to take in as much soup as he could with each spoonful and the little happy whimpers that escaped his lips in the process.- 

She didn’t miss the way he flinched when she called his name after clearing her throat, so she tried to soften her tone as much as possible - '' Haneul and I don't have a whole lot to offer but we have a spare bedroom, and there is always food in the fridge and I bet our house is way warmer than out there, well I don't really know where you have been staying out and it's not like you have to stay here if you didn't want to…" - She sighed, realizing that she was ranting again -

 "I guess what I'm trying to say is that we would love for you to stay with us if you would like to?" - It wasn't until then that she looked at him, too afraid of being rejected without even finishing the offer. She couldn't read the expression on his face. - 

"Y-you.. you want me to stay here?" - His voice was nothing more than a broken whisper, and she couldn't help but panic when she assured that it was an invitation and that it was his decision but he started crying. -

 " Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to upset you, I just thought that it would be…  Oof" - He held her as if she is a lifesaver and he was drowning in the middle of the sea, his tail wagging at an impossible speed and a never-ending trail of whimpery thank yous coming out of his mouth. Her hand traces calming patterns on his back and arm, and he feels like he will just melt right there and then within the safety of her arms and her calming scent. 

Soon enough, there is a smaller body joining the hug with muffled giggles emitting from it.

  He’d try to calm himself down and not get jealous but we all know he will anyways. In his head: “Its only a dare Jin, its only a dare, it doesn’t mean anything like she said, calm down, she’s still your- GHAAAAAAAA” *Angry and jealous Jinnie*

 Yoongi: 

He didn’t like this at all, he was so pissed it was even visible on his face. The minuite your lips touched Hoseok”s he snaped. “OKAY LET’S GO BAI GUYS” 

Hoseok: 

He would get sad, but jealous at the same time, when you finished kissing Yoongi he would grab your hand and leave, and when it was you two ‘dom daddy’ appeared before you.

He would be jealous, but would use that as an excuse to initiate rough sex for the night. “You bad bad girl, daddy’s gotta punish you now”

He would get sad like Hoseok and he would stay that way. Since he’s insecure and VERY sensitive he would question you if the kiss you had with Tae was real “It didn’t mean anything right? It was only for the dare, right Y/N?”

This boy would be mad. No matter how chill he is and not jealous, all of his jealousy would arise to the surface, and then… he might also get pissed. “Okay that’s it, this game is absurd, Y/N your not kissing anyone, you got that!?”

Jungkook:

He is the jealous type. Actually I must say the VERY JEALOUS type. His blood would boil once your lips touched Jimin’s and after you two pecked, he grabbed your wrist and took you to his room and pushed you against the wall. “You think you can play with me like that Y/N!?
