I Just Love Mochizukis Ability To Manipulate Her Readers. I Feel As If She Makes Us Assume Things Even

I just love Mochizuki’s ability to manipulate her readers. I feel as if she makes us assume things even though they haven’t been confirmed in any way. Have these two examples:

Many theorize how the woman from Vanitas’s past could possibly be an Archivite because of her darker skin and white hair. Which is all good (and I personally like those theories) except that their very basis is something that has not been confirmed - why are we assuming that the vampires from the Archiviste clan had darker skin and white hair? This topic has never been touched in the manga but for some reason we sort of just go with it.

Another thing is the bed time story which was told to us in the very beginning. So now every time we think of the Vampire of The Blue Moon, we think of “a hated vampire known as “Vanitas”” who “was born on the night of a blue full moon, a symbol of misfortune. Everyone was afraid of Vanitas and ran him out of the village. […] And in his heart of hearts he swore… vengeance on vampires born on the night on a crimson moon.” and about the Book of Vanitas as “a special book created by Vanitas, imbued with the power to interfere with vampires’ true names“ which, for now, seem to be the case. But still, it’s just a bed time story and it would be interesting if Mochizuki takes advantage of this to confuse us (aka. the story not being accurate/real).

1. If it’s alright for you to share, what’s the most embarrassing thing that you did?

I can’t remember some of my embarrassing moments but the most recent embarrassing thing I did was when I was chatting with my cousin and I was swearing a lot because I was so pissed off with certain school issues. The message I sent was 75% cuss words and 25% info about the current situation I’m in. I told my cousin to inform my mom about what I’ve told her, minus the bad words but good ‘ol cousin showed the very unholy message to my mom instead. As a result, she sent a voice message from my angry mom asking me why the frick am I swearing. It was funny and lowkey embarrassing at the same time o n o

2. Coffee or tea? Additional fact: I am not allowed to drink both of those beverages because of health concerns. Anyway, uhhhh??? ? this is hard why you do this???? loljk but uhm, coffee. with lots of sugar in it.

3. What is your favorite music genre?

…pop, r&b, and basically every song (regardless of the genre) that sounds appealing. I don’t have an actual fave because I love music so much lmao.

4. Who or what is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear/read the word “love”?

A N I M E.

On a more serious answer, the first thing that comes to my mind is the meaning of love itself. For me, love means a strong feeling of a person towards someone or something. Love, in general, is definitely the greatest feeling in the world. It is dominating enough to outpower anything even the most evil entity.

5. What is the last book that you’ve read?

Dazai Osamu and the Dark Era. ♡ I stopped reading halfway through the novel though because of school works. I hope I’ll have time to read it again. ;;

6. What do you fear the most?

I have a lot of fears, by the way ;---( One of them is the fear of not having a good future.

7. If you can relate yourself to anime character/s (or fictional character/s), who would it/they be and why?

I tell you what, I can relate to almost every anime character I’ve watched! Like, I can relate to Kageyama Tobio because we both don’t know how to interact with other people that much, I can somehow relate to Dazai Osamu because we don’t normally let anyone know what we’re thinking or planning to do, I can relate to Katsuki Yuri in terms of self-confidence, I can relate to Luna Lovegood because we are both weirdos, and many moreeee.

8. What type of weather do you like?

Snowy weather! I like to experience snow someday. ♡

9. What do you usually do to de-stress yourself?

Whenever I get stressed from school works, I just take a deep breath… and strangle myself to death- I mean, I try to relax myself by taking a deep breath. Sometimes I watch videos of youtubers I like, watch anime for a bit, and listen to relaxing music. I also procrastinate for a while and do things I like before I cram and get stressed again and basically the cycle just continue like that.

10. If you were stranded on a deserted island with one character, who would it be and why?

Sugawara Koushi maybe?? because he’s your typical mom friend and I bet he knows what to do to survive in the island and maybe he’ll eventually find ways to get us out there? he’ll probably just call daichi or the others idk

11. Who are your rare ships?

From BSD, it would be ODAGIDE also, fyodor/dazai and mori/kouyou. From Haikyuu hmm, maybe kage/tsuki and ushi/tendou? I don’t have any rare ships in Yuri on Ice YET and because VIKTUURI ALL THE WAY– kidding. but so far, I have none from YOI.
