Are There Any Casual Watchers Of ASY, Do You Think? Disney Subscribers Scrolling Through The List And
Are there any casual watchers of ASY, do you think? Disney subscribers scrolling through the list and happening upon it...hmm. . What's this? Let's see...
What would they think? Would it create any new fans? Would they watch more than a few minutes before switching to their 10th rewatch of Guardians of the Galaxy or over to Hulu?
Because I am đź’Ż a Jiminette, and even I am kind of bored by it all. The 'antics' aren't that funny. The conversations... there IS NO conversation. All they do is EAT. Or talk about eating.
It just seems so completely geared towards Army. And if it's geared for Army, why couldn't Jimin's Production Diary be on Disney or YouTube instead of a $20 extra feature on stupid Weverse?
#StillPissedAboutFace
im not sure actually. because while disney plus is a popular streaming service, it has a ton of shows and do you watch every show that pops up on your recently added feed? i sure dont. i didn't even watch some of the bts stuff on there and i'm a fan.
now, there definitely could be. there is a sparse amount of kdramas on there, so potential kdrama watchers could see it and be interested.
it is a very army focused show though. it doesn't take the time to introduce jimin and jk, and it doesn't let us know who the other members of bts are (because be real, this is actually a bts show with this amount of times the other members have been mentioned). even an intro like they do for run bts would've made a bit more sense than the random clips they use for the intro

oh my fucking god, 1.5B of who????? this is insane and so fucking amazing
and and if the versions of like crazy were together we'd be getting closer and closer to a 2B (im sad thinking about this right now)
i really hope we can manage this but tbh i really want lc to get 1.5b before who. idk why but lc will always be that song to me
how do you think the dynamics of bts will work when they return as a group?
it's certain that hybe will use the "the 7 are important" speech and in reality, they will continue to give the spotlight and privileges only to jk, it wouldn't surprise me if he was the only one who had the freedom to do his solo work while the group is active again.
pd and scooter, they're despicable people but I don't think they'd shoot themselves in the foot by trying to end bts right away, imagine how much backlash that would give and how much money they'd lose, or maybe they're dumb and do that??? 🤔
I hope pd and scooter keep inflating jk gigantic ego and he decides to leave this group soon, because wasn't that the intention of so much investment in his solo career?
the way the armys fandom has become pathetic, it's quite possible that they will continue to manipulate this fandom, making jk out to be some poor bastard who didn't know what he was doing.
everyone knows that no matter what jk does, the armys fandom will applaud and turn a blind eye, just look at what hybe does in relation to bts solo career and what their real intention is lol everyone knows what they're up to and yet armys pretend nothing is happening.
i honestly don't know. i think some things will 100% will have changed considering how they've all grown in their own strengths, but also with all the stuff that's happened due to the company
honestly, i dont think we'll see most of the problems that might arise. hybe won't want fans to see the bad sides of bts, no matter what perspective they're trying to push.
now, mind you, they're all in the military right now. hopefully all the immaturity that jk and th have will be at least improved after this. hopefully they'll be more able to understand how things work outside of the celebrity field (although th's social media posts don't point to that outcome)
jk has always been pushed as the golden member, ever since debut. that's why he was given center even though other members were better suited for it. also why he was given so many lines as well. i don't know when their greed involving jk started, but it seems to be from early in their careers.
the thing i'm most interested in is how the fanbases have changed. everyone's grown their own solo fanbases, and army have lowkey been in shambles lately. i think more internal fanwars will be arising over stupid stuff like line distribution and other stuff. there will be a lot different fandom wise. we've grown as a solo fandom but bts has (supposedly) lost a lot of army from hiatus. that and with jk's push and jimin's popularity in the us, they've gained a bunch of fans that will be tuning in for bts now.
it's frightening and exciting at the same time and i'm looking forward to it
I think a lot of these assumptions come from echo chambers by the way. Jimin, if anything, has gained a solo fandom, a very devoted one at that. A lot of them left Twitter because that place is insufferable some days. But his fandom has grown and they are organised as hell. Armies that didn’t support him during face are the same ones who has never wanted to support him any way, he hasn’t lost anything. You can have a double or triple bias but you will always prefer one over the other and if Jimin’s success hurt you because he outsold your fav, then you weren’t as fond of him any way. ARMY has supported Jimin music because it’s good music not because it’s Jimin’s. They could use it for bragging purposes. It stood out the most. ARMY are currently occupied cleaning out the Yoongi mess they have been consistently at it since two weeks. JM gets hit hate tweets because to most kpop fans he’s the representative of BTS, and he’s the one who introduced the band to them. All kpoppies jump on the wagon, but it’s the same circle jerk. And also once you go out, you will see “ratio” is a thing that exists in the stan world and literally nowhere else. I have two accounts - one for Jimin and one for my western and indie artists and I promise you every relevant artist gets lashings on Twitter. And Jimin is relevant. I also saw a GC being infiltrated by a bunch of kpoppies and all they did was say the most vile things about JK. The chat was outed, not a single account got suspended. The anti SUGA tweets are still there. But does any of it mean anything in real life? The answer is no.
people on twitter love to hate because it gets them attention and it's the only attention they're getting in the kpop world. these companies and idols literally do not care that you think their song is a "flop."
people hate because they can. they hate because they're hiding behind the safety of the internet where nothing can hurt them other than some words (which comes back to bite some of them when they end up getting sued)
jimin's fanbase is honestly one of the better ones i've seen throughout kpop fandom spaces. no matter what these "unproblematic" kpop fandoms say, there no such thing as a perfect fandom. there are always going to be toxic people in them. jimin's fanbase doesn't really have time to be toxic or to focus on the toxic ppl in our fandom because we're too busy organizing ourselves to do better. and honestly, it just proves that being off of twitter is better for fandoms considering jimin's following is huge compared to his twt fandom. we can be more focused on streaming and getting achievements rather than defending him pointlessly against people that are just going to hate because it gets them views and likes
Hello. This might be a dumb question so feel free to ignore it but I wanted to ask you if you think the other vocal line will have to adjust to Jimin’s improved (and stronger) singing technique once they come back together?
And if so, in what way?
i don't think they'll have to adjust. if anything the pitch of bts' songs might actually go down a bit considering jimin's low/mid register is a lot stronger now than it was before.
im actually excited to see how that ends up turning out because it will be mean stronger songs, amazing live performances, and more opportunity for stuff like harmonization
jimin haters are such miserable people i cant do this. they literally get mad that ppl think jimin's talented. like what??
