Also to add as someone in band: WEAR EARPLUGS AT CONCERTS! The average instrument is loud enough to cause PERMANENT hearing damage in SEVEN MINUTES OR LESS! Multiply that by a bunch of instruments and that rock concert you were at broke your ears in .4 seconds.
