I hate when people sort of mis characterize Janus and Virgil’s dynamic

They don’t just berate insults at each other

Virgil’s minds his own business and tries to avoid Janus while Janus is just smug about it and goes up to him with some cryptic ass message. I don’t even think Janus completely hates Virgil.

Virgil is not Janus’s least favorite, they don’t always argue. If anything Janus probably hates Roman waaaay more than Virgil.

And Virgil doesn’t fully hate Janus, he hates him but probably does care for his well being and vice versa. They’re not enemies but they’re not friends either. I really want them to make up tbh 💀.

Same for Remus, he doesn’t hate Virgil and Virgil probably doesn’t hate him completely either.

People just make the dynamic hatred when it’s not just that.

I personally love when people make child Remus the “mug man” of Roman and Remus or the socially awkward shy one that’s a people pleaser cuz it’s kinda realistic (?)

Like most people who behave like current Remus were usually people who were ignored or shunned or people who were very mistreated and just snapped or stopped trying to be liked. A coping mechanism for hate is to trick yourself into thinking you like the hate so it becomes your pride instead.

Kid Remus being like mug man or the dipper of Roman and Remus would be a fun concept lol. That’s just my personal head canon. Like he’s pip like South Park and say something like “I’m sure they’ll accept you one day Damien!”

One day kid Remus just snapped mentally and just went “fuck it I don’t care what they think anymore I’ll behave how I like idc how they feel” and started behaving like current Remus lol.
